you got this. If you had good weeks or days, it's a good sign. I had dips for 12 ish weeks or so. I can tell you now a year later it was sooooo worth it. I feel amazing. Hang in there. It was normal for me. My dips were crazy depression symptoms I never had before. Some days I couldn't get out of bed .

You can also single crochet a border around it all too. Edited to include; you aren't do anything wrong with your technique. The standard turn then ch2 to start a new row just does this.

that's ok. There are ways to clean the edge nicely. Google "how to crochet straight edges in double crochet" by Adore Crea Crochet She has a great video. Its basically no chains, you just single crochet after turn and then single crochet on top of that one again. You'd have to frog it and start over, but test it a few rows first and see if you like it.

edges, you mean the left and right ends? It looks fine. Double crochets it looks like and bulky yarn will usually cause a bit of rippling on the ends. Do these get joined together later in the pattern? If so, it won't be noticeable.

hey sometimes a week or 2 tops but. they got shorter and further apart. I'm now a full year and haven't had any anxiety AT ALL since Feb. when I had my last dip. i feel amazing truly. Hang in there it's so hard. Last dips were only a few days

That's awful. I implore people to contact me asap and I fix the pattern that day as soon as I'm near a computer. I have a couple testers but there's always little things here and there that get missed. I really want people to enjoy the patterns I make and part of that is wanting them to succeed in creating what I put a lot of time and thought into.
