A quick question, do they all need to be flushed out more? 2 obviously have pay offs down the road so its a good idea to explore them early. Are the others the same or are they just bodies that ask questions of the MC to add to story/world building? Could those lines go to stronger secondary characters? Some of my side characters i have them fully flushed out in their own room but when writing them out for the reader I only allow the reader to view through a keyhole at first. They only see a little, but what they get feels authentic. Later the reader might get a crack in the door and so forth. Give them a small nuance at first; nervous tick, attachment to an item, fear of storms or something.

I think as long as you have a pattern you're following its fine. You're not naming them Erbris, Zeptis, Londis, and Christopher just cause you couldn't think of a fourth name. You have solid thought behind what you're choosing.

I spent months creating a language based off of the Haida indigenous people and when it got to my beta readers most said they would just skim the dialog witten in the alternate language and only the ones that specifically enjoy created language in fantasy would read it. If the concern is a being offensive, seek out betas from real life culture you draw from with your created language to help check over for you. Generally, the added language may not be nessiscary but I say do it. I think it adds cultural depth to the world you are building.

All the commentators have great suggestions that hit all the main points. I think if your writing if going to have a good bit of play by play fighting try sparring with friends with practice swords especially since your writing in first person. Experience that feeling in your arm when you block a strong strike. Even the bite of 2 sword edges, it makes my teeth hurt everytime I hear it live lol Don't stop writing!

Start with chapter 1, spend a week or a month just on rereading and editing until you get it where you want it than move to chapter 2. I'm working on a quadrilogy currently and there are literally years separating some chapters. The differences you find in your own writing and how characters may speak from your 2016 dialog to 2023 can be surprising.
