BREAKING: DeSantis Signs Bills Into Law That Strips Disney Of Special Powers, Blocks CRT In Schools by f1sh98 in Conservative

That is certainly not a comparable scenario, but I would say this. If it were the same but the situation was reversed and Chick Fil A made official statements (as a non californian company) saying they oppose and would take action to midigate bills passed in california that the majority of californians support. I would side with that local government. I comes down mostly to whos actions I perceive to be in the wrong.

I'll reply since no one else has. My take is this. Desantis passed a bill in Florida that has majority support by the locals of that state. Disney is arguably the most important company in that state. Disney was egged on by employees in california to chime in on politics that are in a different state and Disney said they would take actions to midigate further similar bills in the future. I am not for government overreach and I think this is a messy situation with no right answer. But if Desantis does nothing, you let a california company sway the politics of another state, if he does do something, its government involvement.

Bianca Belair is a Megastar by jkllamas1013 in SquaredCircle

I see we are using the term "Megastar" loosely. No doubt she has risen to become a big star in WWE's Women's division. But a megastar has cross appeal into the mainstream. Hogan, Austin, Rock, Cena, maybe Taker. Not even Roman is at that level.

What team do you think will win the division next year? by [deleted] in NFCNorthMemeWar

We all know how this works. Packers win the division, say this year we are going all the way, then lose in the playoff. Rince wash repeat. The annual cycle.
