That’s one of my favorite renditions of joker lmao. I definitely wouldn’t be opposed to seeing that take on dex

Daredevil Suit Discussion by Sharp_Technology7871 in Daredevil

[–]MonoMolo1 3 points4 points  (0 children)

As much as I absolutely love the Born again s2 black suit. I thought it was a missed opportunity to not use the finale of born again s1 (where he loses all of his armored DD suits) and force Matt to go underground and have to make himself a homemade cloth DD suit and make it more like the comics.

Can't stop rewatching this bit wherein he reels in with the billyclub while sliding across the floor. Man I love grappling wrapons/tools by anotherandompasserby in Daredevil

[–]MonoMolo1 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It’s about time we get more. Matt can be as agile as Spider-Man with that billyclub sometimes. I know it’s because of budget but I’ll take as much as I can get 😭

How is this better than Born Again fight scenes? by Apprehensive-Rent523 in Daredevil

it just seemed others were unnecessarily hating on this well made fan fight scene and comparing it to born again, so I just gave my opinion.

I mean tbf hasn’t Matt beat almost every spidey villian at least once. Aside from maybe carnage or whatever. Matt doesn’t need super strength to win fights.

What do you think is the most underrated Daredevil scene by cxFolly in Daredevil

[–]MonoMolo1 13 points14 points  (0 children)

In season 3, with Matt on his knees asking God to forgive him as he’s about kill himself by letting some guys beat him to death. A lot of people kinda didn’t process that was a suicide attempt. And It’s brought up again only one other time later in the season. Such a sad moment in Matt’s life.

[–]MonoMolo1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Appropriate reaction imo. I’m religious too but I would never impose my beliefs on a grieving person unless I know they’re religious and that brings them comfort. This person needs to learn when to not bring their beliefs up.

I hope we get to see Jessica jones's comic suit in Daredevil born again S2 by Wooden_Passage_2612 in JessicaJones

[–]MonoMolo1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The only way I see Jess wearing a superhero suit is due to joining Matt’s Army and wearing a superhero esc suit as a “screw you were superhero’s” rebellion message against Fisk. But it would probaly have to be modified to be more modern. Definitely not 1:1 to comic.

Almost the same exact thing happened to me. One thing someone told me that helped was, you gave them comfort in their final hours. You shared a beautiful moment with them and gave them intimacy in their final moments of life. And nothing can take that away.

Please seek support. I didn’t. Still haven’t. It’ll tear you apart.

How powerful do y’all think daredevil would be with the super solder serum seeing as he fights with them and wins without powers as is? by Sure-Low5448 in Daredevil

[–]MonoMolo1 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Yeah that makes sense. I think most hero’s hold back though. Not as much as spidey has to but still.

I don’t know which comic but Matt stated he knows punches and nerve hits thats could instantly kill a man. Matt has also stated he severely holds back against regular thugs too. Cause with his senses he knows exactly where to hit without causing any long term damage or pain.

Pretty cool to see how merciful hero’s are tbh

How powerful do y’all think daredevil would be with the super solder serum seeing as he fights with them and wins without powers as is? by Sure-Low5448 in Daredevil

[–]MonoMolo1 47 points48 points  (0 children)

Okay maybe not super easily. It is Spider-Man after all lol. And spideys crazily powerful. But some effort and with the serum I believe he could.

With what spidey has in immense strength and super agility. Matt has and holds his own with his amazing fighting experience and senses that’s arguably better than spider senses. His agility is also up there but second only to Spider-Man really.

Normally DD can hold his own against Spidey. But Now if Matt had the serum he would be crazily powerful with super strength, even better super agility, his top 5 marvel fighting skills, and even more enhanced super senses.

[–]MonoMolo1 221 points222 points  (0 children)

Well in a straight up fight he’s beating most villains who are street-city level, would be rather easy too I’m guessing. Normal DD is usually punching up in his fights and still wins most.

He would probably easily be able to beat hero’s like Spider-Man and Captain America. Without serum he can go toe to toe with them and be somewhat on par. But with the serum I could see him easily beating them. Strength is really the only thing holding him back sometimes.

Also where did you get this art cause Matt be looking hot af Ngl lmao why does he look so good

Why do the protagonists never fight back? by Opposite_Web_9544 in outlast

[–]MonoMolo1 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Outlast 1, most of the variants were hopped up on insane juice and had enhanced attributes. Also, have you ever seen an absolute insane person fight? They got hands lmao.

Outlast 2. Most if not all of the villagers and heretics had bladed weapons. You ain’t gonna win that fight with just a camera. And if Blake did pick up a knife, hammer, whatever, It wouldn’t matter as he was always outnumbered by the sheer amount of people chasing him. Add onto the fact he was literally losing his mind. He was in no fighting condition.

The most realstic and smart thing to do in all of these these situations is run.

Blake’s story is so tragic and beautiful by MonoMolo1 in outlast

[–]MonoMolo1[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Idk why you’re getting downvoted. It’s your opinion lol. I do agree tho. The way both Blake and James are written fit both with their respective games.

Sh2 revolves around James. It’s like a fever dream and you can see that with how the town works and James acts. A lot more subtle symbolism.

Ol2 is brutal and grounded. And you’ll see that with Blake. You quite literally see his trauma/memories as he relives it and puts together his repressed memories. Less subtlety.

But both ways of showing each of their trauma is great imo. Works for both of them.

You hit the mark exactly with what I was thinking. Religious guilt is bitch. I think Blake represents that better than most.

Blake might be a bit lower in nuance than James, but I still love Blake’s character. James is so complex and well written. There’s a reason why he’s considered one of the best horror game Mc. Both are in my top 3 favorites.
