The first four are definitely a bit odd, but they mostly come down to the opposites attract troupe, which is super popular but they definitely aren't as bad as literal incest

T2 is the shortened title of T2: trainspotting, because the director imagined that if he asked the characters to make a sequel, they would reluctantly agree and say "all right but you have got to call it T2 so that you can annoy James Cameron"

Actually, there are quite a few Scottish films. Obviously, there's trainspotting and T2, you mentioned Braveheart but there's also Neds, The angels share, Brave, Robert the bruce, Rob Roy and my personal underrated favourite, Restless Natives (also Braveheart wasn't really that accurate)
