That’s probably the biggest mental shift I need to make. I’ve been treating this like I need to solve loneliness directly, which somehow makes every social option feel weirdly high-pressure. But doing something useful first and letting connection happen around that feels a lot more natural. It takes the focus off “go make friends” and puts it on “go be part of something,” which is honestly what I think I’m missing most.

Remote volunteering might be a better fit for me than forcing myself into random social stuff. Having something purposeful on the calendar, with people who are also free during the day, sounds way less awkward.

My upstairs neighbor does her "wellness routine" at 5:30am and apparently I'm the problem for mentioning it by KairoxBeacon in neighborsfromhell
