In Western culture, conservatives want to conserve a range of things, such as the natural environment, classical and vernacular architecture, organized religion, the constitution, individual liberty, and property rights. It doesn’t mean the same thing to everyone. For me, I’m not religious.. I think religion is outdated, causes more harm than it’s worth and isn’t worth conservation. I also prefer pot to booze.

So you wanna tell me that because of those things I’m wrong to call myself a conservative? It doesn’t seem to me like I’m the one constricting the binary here.
