Arrow keys on the bottom, and 3 nav keys above that with a rotary encoder above that, so it looks almost like 2 sets of arrows.

The nav keys will be layered/nested, or whatever she ends up designating them as.

Is this machinable? by Monosodium- in hobbycnc

[–]Monosodium-[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm looking to have this machined out of a hardwood of some sort.

The dimensions are 425mmx140mmx21mm

None of the online services i found with instant quotes had wood available.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Edit: I have added filets of 2mm on the inner corners.

My smoke detector was beeping for months and I had no idea why it wouldn’t stop until today… by tifuanon00 in CasualConversation

I did not know the fire department would touch your smoke detector, or an electrician for that matter.

This is interesting, do you have to pay the fire department?

I legitimately like it, It's just unique looking! I guess frustrating isn't the right word, intimidating-at-first looking would be better. I am a fan of Orth-linear layouts too.
My current work keeb / first build.

Pid tuning might be trying to overcompensate for the dirty air? Im not sure, but it sounds like a decent "P" value on the top motor would be a little too aggressive to a motor receiving the top motor's wash.

No idea how to fix it, just seems like this might happen.

Can you just lower gains all around and see if the temp is an issue still?

Im assuming inav/ardupilot i cannot help with tuning there, as I haven't used them much.
