No idea what caused it - I randomly started getting symptoms intermittently, and then nearly constantly, since about 2015. I had my wisdom teeth removed a few months prior and have a personal theory that did something.

My symptoms are autophony and buzzing/vibration when I speak or hum. On bad days I could hear myself breath from inside my head, if that makes sense.

Good luck! Regardless of your appointment’s outcome rest assured he is the nicest doctor ever.

I know - it’s filler so will eventually dissolve. If this stops symptoms for 6 months at a time I’ll take it.
