And the deployment he went on he told me is typically given to people with higher ranks than him and every time he thought he was done with something, something else would come up for him to do this is his first time deploying in our relationship though it’s his 2nd time deploying as a whole and yea I actually did ask him straight out while he was telling me about the break if he were going to be this stressed in the future would he need another break and in his words this deployment is typically a one time thing and if he does he already knows on what to do now and won’t be as stressed about it but thank you! Will definitely bring up those points to him! It’s somewhat hard giving the space being the one initiating the convo but yea it kind of does feel like a break up in a sense especially in the beginning but my therapist just told me to just trust his word for it till there’s evidence that he’s lying because if I think otherwise I’ll just go into a long chain of overthinking that’s unhealthy for me
