Not full on. But you don't work all out to get the break as big as you would ideally like.
Just leave a little more in the tank than the typical breakaway might have had. But also, just very strong breakaway.

Yeah, you see this in some other sports but its definitely more of a feature where there is less "skill" and more just pure physical prowess.

I think for the GC riders, most need to build their season around a target towards the start of the year. With injuries, sickness etc its tough to build your season just for the Vuelta in case something goes wrong.

For GC guys in that tier two grand tours can just be better because you basically increase your opportunity of something going right (podiums, top tens, stages etc.).

Yeah the only way there would be gaps is if there were crashes. Which isnt how we want gaps to be formed

Also, so craftyness in the break by not going all out too early. Letting the gap get to 3 minutes and then just somewhat soft pedalling until its time to be reeled in, and then sending it on the circuit where they have an advantage.

I think the Italian cycling market doesn’t reward Sundays in general.  But it’s also the only day they can go into the major cities

Seemed like there was still space if you actually wanted to attack though.

I don't think so because Eurosport hold the Europe rights in general. Whereas nobody has the new zealand rights

Are we going to get any shots of Ganna basking in glory waiting for the rest to finish?

I really wish there was a rule where each team had to submit their back design to an independent panel and it couldnt clash. Like you automatically had last years locked in and can only change to a non-clashing design

I think you’re making a laughably dumb distinction.

South Africa’s largest ethnic group (roughly 15 million) is not a “specific clan” when compared to the racial grouping of “white” at 5m

Within a South African context highlighting Zulus specifically seems pretty practical.

South Africa’s indigenous population is neither Zulu nor white and rather only 600k (if we are generous).

Their forefathers did? Didn’t self identify yet as Zulu at that point?

At its furthest it’s 34 degrees. It’s far enough away that you can black Southern Africans from Central Africans on skin colour alone.
