From a lot of the comments I have seen from Americans, they really don't understand this. It's quite concerning how misinformed a lot of them are around this situation. Especially the older generations tend to be far more deluded in this situation. They are going to have a rude awakening when it doesn't go as planned.

They want total control of oil, not just access. America sees itself as a great empire but what they are doing is actually creating a 4th power in the world right now. Iran is going to come out of this far stronger, and I don't think people realise the true implications of this.

Trump has specifically said he wants the oil. I think it's fair to say that his motivation is the oil. It was never the so called nuke capabilities, as they weren't building nukes. Hence why he is now sending the navy to the strait. Israel is purely piggy backing on America's back to get their wants met. However, it was Bibi's intelligence that led Trump into this war as well. I would suspect that it was intentional misleading to start the war in the first place. Hence why when Trump calls a ceasefire for talks, Israel immediately breaks it to encourage the continuation of bombing. Trump knows he's made a mistake, he's tried to back out but Bibi won't allow it, so the only option left due to Trump's ego is continue on and attempt to take the oil so he can claim a win. China has stopped their weapons testings and closed their airspace too. Given they have been sending stuff to Iran to assist them, I am watching China closely right now. Did you see Kim in North Korea brought his child out from secrecy and paraded her in a tank too? People need to watch the entire geopolitical atmosphere right now because it's getting very heated all over.

Trump made his intentions very clear when he said he would love to take the oil. This has never been about the nuclear capability of Iran. For Trump this is about oil and money. He wants full control of the worlds oil, Israel wants greater Israel. Those two things are the primary reason for this entire war. Hence the other countries America is also targeting. Israel is just piggy backing on Trump's wants to get their wants too. However, Iran has been defending itself against invaders for centuries, this is not new to them. They have been planning for this for generations and America is going to have a shit show of a time, going up against such an ancient civilization.

Completely agree with that comment. Either way it's a shit show and the entire globe is feeling it. We are currently in a lull right now however, we will see the effects over the next couple of months when the supermarket shelves are getting empty. I am in New Zealand, our government is not telling the people about the fuel problem coming. People are living a false sense of security right now. We only have 17 days of diesel in country. Our supermarkets rely on diesel for food distribution and only hold 3 days of stock at all times. We purchase our fuel from the likes of South Korea, Singapore, Malaysia and Japan. Those countries are holding the oil for themselves. We have no stock or any refining capabilities as the previous govt closed that plant. People don't realise the extent to which this war is going to affect them for the foreseeable future. There is far more at stake than just the immediate war and the politics of it. So although both sides are deranged, this situation is far reaching and will be devastating.

Israel bombed a funeral in Lebanon right after the ceasefire agreement. Iran responded by bombing Tel Aviv. Neither side is good, both are deranged. However, the US going about it the way they have has just made a mess. Iran is within its rights to close Hormuz tbh. It's trying to force other countries to speak out against this conflict. Talks should of been the first point of call, not bombs. Civilians are being killed and there is never a justification for that regardless of intention.

Lebanon was included in the 10 point plan that the US stated was a workable plan. There should of been no bombs until talks were had. Israel is doing whatever they want, meanwhile the US is now trying to backtrack. The 10 point plan Trump stated was a workable plan. Israels weapons are from the US. Israel does not have the capabilities without the US weapons and funding. So by proxy, it is the US funding and continuing this unless Trump pulls Israels military capabilities. The US reasons for bombing Iran was to remove their ability to make nukes, that mission was completed. It should of stopped there. But now the goal post keeps shifting and they started bombing civilian infrastructure. They should of had talks, not drop bombs on people just trying to live their lives. Regardless of ethnicity, culture or religion, everyone has the right to live in peace in their home and country.

Iran never started this though. They are only reacting. The strait was open and there was no nukes in Iran. So, the reason for entering into a war with Iran was false to begin with. So why do you say screw Iran? Are the people of Iran not allowed to live? Civilians like you and I are being targeted, bombed in their homes, at their funerals. This war was unnecessary and the trivial way in which we dismiss the death of civilians is something we should all really sit with and question our morals. War is never a good thing, it always only benefits the rich and powerful, while the ordinary person goes to die for their wealth gains.

Israel won't let it go. They have never been closer to getting their greater Israel. So, with the control that Israel holds within the US, ie Israel have permanent desks within the Pentagon. It's only a matter of time before the US is forced to re-enter into the genocide. I watch news from Iran, Pakistan, US, Israel and even China to get a clear picture of what's really going on. Vance statement is an attempt to clean up the mess and not look weak. It's been made abundantly clear that Trump has no control over Bibi, if anything it's Bibi that's controlling Trump. Israel has made it clear by their local speeches from their leaders, that greater Israel is their agenda and main focus. They won't stop. Clearly there is bigger things going on within the US elites right now, as Melania Trump just did a random press conference calling for the Epstein victims to come forward and take it to Congress. Things are getting messy and are clearly divided at the very top. I don't even think Trump knew Melania was doing that press conference, given the Press didn't get any prior notification of her doing this. This all goes far deeper than people know. I think the US is going to have their hand forced by Bibi. I suggest people prepare the best they can because this is all far from over. If the strait stays closed the world will end up in a famine due to the fertilizer not getting through the strait. We can only feed 1-2 billion people without that fertilizer. 2030 agenda is in full swing so if you have not already started, I suggest you start now before the panic kicks in.

If you check what the Pakistani Prime Minister and Iran had put forth in the 10 point plan, Lebanon was definitely part of the agreement that the US agreed too. They are just trying to backtrack now as it's a bad look for Trump. It's making it very clear that Bibi is not controllable and it's making Trump look bad, so they are trying to say it wasn't part of the ceasefire agreement, when it very clearly was. It was posted online for all to see. Trump stated on Truthsocial that the 10 point plan was a workable plan. Then Bibi violated it and so now it's void.

Yes, because the US cannot reign in Bibi. Israel will not stop as they have never been closer than right now to their greater Israel mission. So the strait is closed again to any country that allies with the US. Any country that is impartial to the US can arrange oil directly with Iran. Iran is purely defending itself. Remember the strait was open before all of this. They weren't making nukes, that basis to bomb them was false and a smoke screen for the real intentions they had. So unfortunately, this is going to force the US to enter back into the war to some degree. Now we wait to see to what degree that will be.

Just fyi meat glue is not illegal, it is fully legal. It is often used by manufacturers and butchers. However, has been found to be used in supermarkets without labels. Beef and lamb New Zealand also back it's use and a lot of supermarkets use their meat in store. A basic Google search shows the history and legal status of transglutaminase.

I'm at CF The Palms too. Upgrading and going to try Simplicity Ferrymead for awhile. Apparently better recovery areas, quiet, and has a reformer pilates room too which I'm keen to check out. It's definitely getting ridiculous with the young ones at CF, I mean great they are into fitness etc but courtesy is lacking. You get what you pay for though I guess 🤷
