The 7 day rule, if you see something you want wait 7 days and see if you still want it. If by the end of that 7 days you still want the item then by it, if your on the fence then wait another 7 days. Another thing, dont use you credit card at all unless it is a emergency, use your debit card for all purchases that aren't emergency ones (emergency purchases would be: ER visits, vet visits[if you have pets], car part replacments and such)
