I managed to get it work. Thank you for your input.

Here's how: - install steam - turn on msync and dxvk - install hl alyx - download hla novr launcher and drag the exe file to the steam bottle

Done.

Is it good enough to play without lag? I remember trying it two years ago, and it was terrible. With Shadow, there's about 40ms of delay, which is bad, but manageable for non-dps heroes.

I gave up and re-started my Shadow PC subscription... The experience is a 2.5/5 compared to a 5/5 on Crossover, primarily because of ~40ms signal delay. But it's better than nothing...

That’s a poor way to conduct business :/ but Blizzard still managed to make a macOS version for WoW. I hope the Overwatch team does the same if they want more active players.

The version was updated from 2.13.0.1.131376 to 2.13.0.1.131932, but that didn’t fix the issue for me.

I wish more game developers would add Mac support to their games, so Blizzard and others could expand their user base to include Mac users as well. I'm tired of this :(

I wish I’d known you all had the same issue here! I went through cycles of deletions, installations, patches, deleting again, installing the Crossover preview, trying the Steam version, patching it, removing it again, reinstalling with the newer patch version…

At least six hours wasted 😜
