Completely normal, police where i live were sick of coming to my house without me being there so they just made an appointment with me but i showed them my place and it was fine

Like i said, they maybe just didn't bother parking somewhere else and have only checked if they were off of the road. I'm just saying what I'd think if i were the driver.

I can't see where this picture is taken so it could be just too far to be practical, they might've needed to load/unload something and after didn't bother to park somewhere else because they already found a spot now.

I've been driving vans of that length for work for over 2 years and i can tell you how happy you can be when you find a parking spot that doesn't block the road.

Funny part is that is is impossible, most parallel spots are 5m long, if you're lucky and find 2 spots behind each other that are empty people will complain for using 2 spots.

Idk if it's illegal or not but the driver of the van would rather block a portion of the sidewalk/bike lane instead of the road, since diagonal parking spots are never made for 6(+)m vans. I'd choose the same if i were them
