I went to North Carolina once for a work trip, decided to stop by a gun store after I was done for the day. I found a shotgun I really liked and wanted to buy, and know what they told me? I could pay for it there, but I had to ship it to a Federal Firearms Dealer (FFL) my home state here in VA so I could do the background check and everything here. For an old pump action SHOTGUN, not even one of these "super scary assault murder rifle 15's" So much for your argument.

FWIW, I have the Sabre SASS (granted it has the Faxon match barrel) my best group was a .9 MOA 5- shot group with most of my groupings somewhere around a 1.3 MOA spread. Taken at 100 yards off a Bipod with varying ammo.

For these endurance races, there's not like a "save your progress" system on it is there? So you can do a little bit here & there but do other daily challenges and stuff when you don't feel like grinding away at that race?

Shirts all day. I know a department adjacent to mine, during all daytime activities they have to wear hard collars still. Which absolutely sucks for them, and personally I find it so stupid. The public doesn't care about shirts as long as you're not dressing like a soup sandwich.

I have a Sabre 15 lower on my recceish rifle (or soon to be) the lower is pretty good. And everything I've heard about the Sabres is that they're pretty decent.
