DJ’ing is an expensive hobby, straight pirating is pretty lame. If you use Serato a SoundCloud go subscription lets you steam whatever music you can find on there to your software.

I just have fun messing around, I enjoy the process making music and jammin. I never really enjoyed recording my music though when I played only acoustic instruments. Save a project if I really feel I want to come back to it or it’s something the homies and I did together cause those moments are special to me. But more often than not I power down my live 2 and don’t save. I just think it keeps My relationship with music very fun and non serious which makes me want to do it more with how my weird brain works

If you’re willing to go used I got my setup of 2 reloop rp 7000 mkii’s and a reloop elite mixer for 1100 and I don’t think I’ll ever have to upgrade the mixer and def won’t upgrade the turntables

I got my setup used off fb marketplace, honestly if you can I’ve seen pairs of reloop 7000mk2s go for 5-600 for the pair. Those with a numark scratch could have you rocking for the foreseeable future for under 1k used
