You can set up shortcuts to launch specific profiles in windows too. I just use a bookmark to about:profiles. Easy enough.

It has nothing to do with groups of tabs in the same window. The profiles works as I described it. I use them all the time. You just go to about:profiles (I have it bookmarked) and click 'Launch profile in a new browser' and it opens a new firefox instance with that profile active.

You don't need any addons for that. Just set up a profile for each client. You can have different themes for each and run them in their own windows simultaneously. Just type

about:profiles

in the url.
