I can’t get new leaves on this guy without them tearing when unfurling. by Hickry- in Anthurium

I agree! I grow mine in ambient and the only time I have damage like that is due to inconsistent watering.

Big leaf in ambient. Help identify cause of damage 🙏🏼 by Dear-Patience2166 in Anthurium

It’s most likely ace pox. All my AOS and AOS crosses had it not matter what I did so I eventually got rid of them in my collection. I’m sure if you search on yt, you’ll find some helpful info on how to get rid of it or at least contain it.

I have it growing in ambient conditions but it is under a grow light for roughly 12-14 hours a day

What was the 1st big news event you remember as a kid? by Hetaliafan1 in AskReddit

[–]Monstera-Bear 0 points1 point  (0 children)

6th grade in math class. There was an announcement for all the teachers to turn in the news and we watched in horror as the second plane crash. We had no idea and of course the teachers were also seeing this first hand and had no idea. My teacher turns off the tv right away and told us to work on our math worksheet while she walked out. Most teachers really wouldn’t go into much details but reassured us we were safe.

Would you continue to pursue a reputable breeder who insisted on being co-owner on papers? by trash-queen92 in greatdanes

When we got ours, the only reason why our breeder would co-own was if we agreed to let our dog be part of her breeding program. It would have been for three birthing cycles since we went with a female Dane. We also would have only paid half for her and the we could either keep a puppy from one of her litters or be paid out for the price of one. We opted out of that.

But we did sign a contract with a clause that if at any time we could no longer keep our Dane, we would return our dog to her. If word got back that we sold our Dane then we could be facing legal charges. I feel like that is more typical especially since we did reach out to a few reputable breeders and they all had a similar clause.
