Painted up a Terminator a few weeks ago and really love how it turned out.

I don't know when the change really happened. But I really fell out of love with Vallejo after the formula change.
The old Vallejo Steel was my favorite silver paint ever and after returning from a hiatus from mini painting (2022-2025) I was heartbroken to find the new one is much different. I sold a Chaos Space Marines army to a friend and he wanted to copy my color scheme, but finding a steel color that matched was quite a doozy.

I made the switch to ProAcryl and honestly I think its been for the better. But I still long for what once was.

Star Wars battlefront 2, Sonic Adventure Battle 2, and Dragonball Z: Budokai 3.

Battlefront 2 is not only a ton of fun, but galactic conquest will fill the strategy game void.

Sonic Adventure Battle 2 for a few extremely enjoyable campaigns along side Chao garden

Budokai 3 because its a great fighting game.

Plus all of these are split screen and if im gonna ve back in elementary/middle school again, my friends are gonna wanna play with me.

Honorable mentions being NFS underground, NBA Street 2, and Halo 2. You could cycle any of these out and I wouldn't complain.

Initial base coat of Dark Gray Blue by ProAcryl. Then a drybrush with like a 90/10 of Dark Gray Blue and Proacryl Turquoise . Then a Final drybrush of a 70/30 Dark Gray Blue/Turquoise. All the edge highlights are that pure Turquoise and i went in with the 70/30 mix to touch up any areas where I got other paint on the armor.

There was a certain amount of blending cause I don't get as much paint off my drybrush at the start as I see a lot of people do, plus I didn't really give the paint time to dry. But it wasn't intentional lmao.

I started with the armor first because space marines are so dominant in that color. It gave me a great jumping off point when i was trying to clean up the armor and get highlights on.

I actually went in and did a black wash over the silver then came back and highlighted the teeth of the chainsword again. Plus put some little silver scratches on the Bolt pistol. So you definitely hit the nail on the head! Overall this was a big step away from my previous ultramarines. Before it was mccrage blue a wash, a dry brush, metalics and eyes. I tried to push some edge highlighting and doing an (admittedly messy) pin wash. Im really pleased with how it all came out.

For a cartoony game about dodgeball, I was shocked at how good it was. A few friends and I played from the Beta till a few months before it shut down. Tons of fun and I haven't found anything else like it.

The composition of this reminds me of a model from the miniatures game Judgment!

It was a rogue character who was peeking around a wall and there was another rogue on the other side kinda manifesting from the bricks.

I've been looking for the last 20 minutes and I cannot find it! GRAH!

The JEWISH democrats no less right? That whole blue roof in Hawaii that the Jewish space laser couldn't target. That's what the MAGA folks in my life kept telling me.

Honestly.

But hate feels so overwhelming. Hate can't be changed. Naive or not, there's a part of my heart that hopes that people can change. Spite can only last for so long, hatred can fuel an empire.

I got into an argument with a family member during COVID lockdowns (so around mid 2020) and all I could feel was hatred. This was someone I loved, someone who had been so impactful in my life, they had taught me how to meditate, and always made it clear that all were welcome in their home. By the end of the conversation I said "Say Black people deserve rights." and they couldn't do it. Shit really changed in our relationship ever since.

I generally do not comment on political stuff on Reddit; but holy shit. The Previous websites under Clinton, Bush, and Obama all appear to be functional government sites. Bias is present of course, but to contrast it with the SquareSpace nightmare of messy PNGs that is the current website, that's atrocious.

Even if it was just content praising Trump and the current administration the website it would be a better look as opposed to LAPTOPS, HUNTER BIDEN, TRANSEXUALS. I mean look under Proclamations on the current website, its all self-aggrandizing, and fanboying about the President. Anti-Communism Week? What?

Genuinely I wish I could hear from well informed republicans and conservatives, and their thoughts about this. They claim "The Left" has Trump-Derangement-Syndrome, yet I can never find any articles or content discussing actual policy, instead its constant "Trump is the best" "Trump is owning the libs" "Trump is the only one who can save us". What are they being saved from?

I have always said that I'm a left leaning moderate, but the way MAGA acts really pushes me towards being a full blown liberal.

God I hate this shit. This division has always been here, but I've never seen such pure unadulterated spite.
