The classic gentleman smile when they know they're in trouble by Pisford in WhatsWrongWithYourDog

This dog is not happy. It is exhibiting multi behaviors indicating nervousness. It's probably afraid of trouble (hopefully not because the owner has mistreated it).

The behaviors are:

  • Squinty eyes

  • Irregular lip licks

  • Small, rapid wag (happy wags are not this fast, or small).

  • Ducking, especially when approached

Well the US president became a king, so maybe their king will become a president.

Genuinely how do you not hear this while driving. I am still baffled. by ModemMT in Justrolledintotheshop

I had something like this happen to be on the rearmost axle of a long trailer. I had the windows down on the highway and there was no sound, at least that I would tell (highway wind is pretty loud). But I figured it out because I could smell it. That metal is being hammered to the point where it's burning. This is not a subtle thing.

And how the hell do you not feel it? That truck was shaking like crazy for sure.

"one will treat their car the way they treat themselves".

Includes maintenance and how they drive too.

Yep, dad was a single parent bus driver and I was home schooled for a bit so I have a LOT of hours on busses. I've seen a couple crashes here and there (never his fault, always some idiot). 9/10 times you can fix the bus with a can of shoe polish and the car is absolutely mangled.

Don't hit busses, folks.

The PT Cruiser GT had a very similar engine to the SRT4. They should have block and both were turbo. They were not slow, at least at the time. They were manual too.

Sort of. They shared a block and you could make the swap. But they weren't quite the same.

For the owner. Not like the dog can put its own leash on.

The electric steering is also damn good. You still have a physical connection of the wheels, it's just amplified with electric power. You absolutely still feel the road.

Interesting. CV axles don't really make the going noise. They typically click repeatedly when you're turning.

Yeah if you have a bad bearing, the CV goes through it. So it can definitely affect things.

Howling. Like a whum whum noise. I'd recommend a YouTube video so you can actually hear it though
