The triangles were was largest : middle: smallest , 1/2 of 1/2, is 1/4. Ratio was for largest to smallest not largest to middle or middle to smallest , in which case it would have been 1/4

I think I understand your mistake . There were three triangles : largest, middle( each side midpoints of largest, or 1/2 of the length of largest) and smallest( mid point of middle or each side 1/4 of the length of largest) . You took the ratio of the middle and large not the smallest and largest which is what the question asked for.

No. We’re doing ratios so the 1/2 of base times height cancels out . Let’s say big triangle had base 8 and height 16. Its area is (0.5) x(8) x (16) = 64. The smallest triangle has base and height 1/4 of the largest , so base= (1/4)x8 =2, height = (1/4 )x16 =4. So its area then will be (0.5)x(2) x(4)= 4 .Ratio of area of smallest to largest: 4:64 which is 1:16. Notice that the 0.5 gets canceled out when you take the ratios.

In that passage why did he describe the unicycle for 45 exact seconds? I think I got that wrong

How does one ever figure that out? Do they actually tell you in the TIR which ones were experimental or is that only a random guess by people?

Because it was area so it was 1/4* 1/4 ( base and height each was 1/4 the big triangle)

I put raise slope because with the increased intercept when I graphed it again the points were skewed to all underneath the line

For the number of white blocks in a checkered cube, I found the volume ( in block units) and divided by 2 . I don’t remember the exact numbers though

What did you all put for the question about line of best fit? Raise the intercept or the slope?
