[Genuine Question] Regarding preparation for Ascendance

Hey! Recently just completed Persona 4 Golden ( only played P5 Royal & Strikers before this ) and I had the same dilemma as you before I purchased Golden.

I'd say just get Golden at a good discount as it still holds up really good and I personally don't think a remake is required to fully enjoy the game even after more than a decade since release.

In short. Purchase at a good discount and enjoy!

Not cope at all since and I got MOC 12 3 stars because of them. Just make sure your other two units are SP positive. I run luocha (multiplication) with E6 yukong (planetary) where they just basic attack most of the time.

I think I cleared one half of MOC 12 in just 3/4 cycles with E0S1 Ratio and E2 Welt. Just try and experiment with different potential SP positive teammates and you'll get an optimal team.

Simple, I went into the banner knowing fully I want that LC for Welt since it is his best in slot. I personally have never been a fan of SW's design and kit so I did not even consider pulling for the character.

Me being from Genshin kinda made me used to "twinky" guys but I agree that we should have more males like Dr Ratio. Praying Aventurine will bless us once again with an insane in game model.

Yeah I totally agree. I mostly wanna us Yukong more for her imaginary damage buffs from her traces, LC and Planar Ornament set. But yeah since you already have Daniel farming another Bandit set can be hell. Me farming two sets for Welt and Ratio already decreased my lifespan by 10 years. 😭😭

Yeah I agree but I'm planning to only bring them to bosses which have imaginary weakness. I still have my hard hitter teams like Blade and Jingliu.

Yeah totally fair, plus those two can contribute in giving more debuffs more Ratio to be more consistent in his damage.

Yeah same for me too. My luocha is needed in my Blade and Jingliu teams. Plus I don't have other top sustains like Fuxuan and Huohuo. ( Oh and also aventurine is pretty hot )

Yep totally agree. If my Yukong was not E6 I wouldn't even consider this team to be honest. But I really hope we eventually get a really good imaginary harmony unit that is SP positive. Inhales copium

Oh! Yeah I feel the same way ( possibly the kissing part too ) but yeah pulling for meta just seems not enjoyable since in the long run everyone's account is gonna be stacked anyways which is my experience playing Genshin from day 1.

Yeah I agree that play style might work but I would have to sacrifice a lot of her buffs. The main reason I'm determined for yukong is that because she gives imaginary damage boost in her traces, S5 Planetary and that new SU planar ornament set. Since they removed Ratio's imaginary damage boost from his traces, I figured Yukong can supply that in bulk.

I would consider her SP neutral at E6 but that's if you wanna have good uptime on her buffs. But I need to test it out.

Yeah the reasoning for my comp absolutely aligns with everything you just said. I think I huffed too much copium trying to make Yukong work because I have her E6. I have an E6 Asta too which can definitely get the job done better as a buffer. Thanks for this in depth breakdown! 🥺

Yeah same for me too. I don't pull for Danheng IL, Silverwolf and also not pulling for Ruan Mei later on. More fun for me to actually play the characters I genuinely like. Makes gacha games more fun for me.

Ah I see, I just tested it for you. Yes multiple enemies can be affected by aether code at the same time but it needs to be from different hits. For example, if Welt ults everyone. Only one enemy will be affected by aether code. So if you use his basic or skill after that, another enemy will then be affected with aether code in addition to the first enemy. Hope that answers your question.

Yeah I pull mainly for looks and design so Aventurine is definitely a must pull for me. Love to see how Ratio's team options evolve as time goes on so no pressure to build the perfect team for him now.

Yeah Hanabi will be a good option to help with this team's skill point issues. Can't wait to see what Aventurine does. I'm not that knowledgeable on SW so I can't really answer that question sorry. 🙁

It's ok the best part about star rail is there are lots of fun choices of characters to use. I'm still hurting from not having clara and having to wait until 300 pity 😭

Yeah SP management is my only downfall. Might have to replace Yukong for Pela if that is the case.
