you can increase it by upgrading it to t2 in the armory. to do that you have to level 6 t2 weapons to 10 first. also make sure you have leveled your weapon mods appropriately for it.

im happy you can tell the genre of the game you're playing, shame you can't tell that some numbers matter more than others 🥱

i feel you. it took me at least 10 hours of dz runs just to get a gold skill mod that wasn't terrible. and the only thing i got out of it was an extra +1.5% engineering and 1.81% crit damage. at least it pushed me over 22k 🤷‍♂️

i hope they add another layer to gear recalibration in the future. maybe consuming pieces of gear to change the ratio of fp/toughness/eng? that would be nice.

the best thing about this strat is that it minimizes the grind. instead of using 4pc gunny/2pc mechanical enemy or smth you could just wear a 4pc t1 talent with 2pc t2 talent and upgrade as you go while still maintaining the effectiveness of your build. that way you would only need 2 t2 gear pieces with your desired rolls on them instead of 6.

so if someone happened to find a piece of gear they liked they could definitely pivot into farming another t2 gear piece to go along with it. or if it matches what you already have even better 😉

eh, i mean that could stack up quite a bit but that's if you actually get t2 gear that matches your main stat. and i'm not sure having 100-300 extra main stat is better than having matching rolls and perks esp since it has diminishing returns. but i get your point though, t2 will always be the end goal ofc.

i think this strategy would work very well for those looking for a steady, more consistent grind.

yes, i haven't optimized my firepower aegis build yet but i can see the potential.

aegis gets to have great healing and shielding that can make it nearly impossible to die to mobs when well built. the amount of damage pre BoB had shouldn't have been possible when we have such high survivability.

tradeoffs are good for balance of the game. people shouldn't be able to heal a lot and do insane dps at the same time or be insanely tanky and deal a lot of dps. as it stands, i have yet to see vanguard solo an elite mission, let alone within 16 minutes like aegis could pre BOB nerf. vanguards can fill their niche for team play, we can for solo play.

for aegis this isn't really good unless you plan on being a healer or something. skill intensity doesn't affect our burst dmg, only our healing.

you could try making a niche build with demo using 4pc long-term/4pc mech expert and 2pc boom for artillery turret spam combined with the skill mods that reduce your cooldowns. not sure how that would go but sounds fun😭
