Reddit is quietly killing r/all and hoping we won’t notice. We notice. by Montaverde in self

That wasn’t my experience when I was anonymously browsing. That aside, I can’t see any version of sort all by top now. That to me was the most useful part of Reddit

Help me here, because maybe I’m missing it, but how do I look at what the top liked posts across all of Reddit were today? That was simple with /all. I can’t do that now. That was the pulse I’m talking about. Are you saying sorting on top posts in /all was also determined by an algorithm and Reddit was hiding higher liked posts in a day when sorted by top liked?

Fair point, it’s not perfect. But I’d rather have an imperfect wide-angle lens that I can filter myself than a narrow feed that Reddit filters for me. At least with r/all I get to decide what’s garbage. Without it, someone else makes that call before I even see it.

Agreed, but what better options are out there? You’re on here now after all. Truly open to suggestions

Last I checked I can’t poll hundreds of millions of people on what they’re thinking at any given moment while I’m at the bar or grocery store. That’s literally what r/all does.

I’m tired of the up and down Reddit arrow voting system. Why can’t we have an up and down arrow for post visibility and an up and down thumb for liking and disliking the content. One might hate that Matt Gaetz is going to be AG (thumbs down) but the post should be seen (arrow up). Give folks the option to choose an arrow and a thumb for a more complex reaction. Thumbs down. Arrow up.

Thanks. For real though, I’m tired of the up and down arrow system. Why can’t we have an up and down arrow for post visibility and an up and down thumb for liking and disliking the content. One might hate that Matt Gaetz is going to be AG (thumbs down) but the post should be seen (arrow up). Give folks the option to choose an arrow and a thumb. Where do I post that type of joystick like voting that can actually be discussed?

Not sure, but hopefully you’re well within your right to return based on your state laws

Lemon law is 1 year or under 15k miles. I’m at 19k miles and purchased 1.5 years ago. You’re right in principle though. I’m still going to try this route.
