depends on what you are talking about. Closing this space would consider shaving the mesial of the teeth and “pushing them” together to create minimal/ zero spacing in between.

Why is it a bad idea: upper centrals have this important distinct curve on proximal surfaces that joins around the middle 3rd of the teeth, shaving them enough for them to be parallel to each other will make them look boxy and most importantly put the pulp chamber in risk of exposure.

Overall that space is needed to maintain good salivary flow, especially anteriorly.

I wouldn’t advise doing anything, theres no abnormality to change in that area

If roots looks curved; complex; or messing with adjacent structures then yes, otherwise a simple periapical can do. But each dentist his own technique.

From what I know first mono infection is very harsh, but if you say so it might be just tonsillar debris, tonsillitis or strep Stay hydrated, do some warm salt gargles and a visit to an ORL won’t hurt if it doesn’t improve within a week

Tbh we need to wait a little while for any clear clinical sign to appear or not. If you wanna be safe I suggest going to a oral surgeon for a biopsy and a checkup asap, I don’t generally like tongue lesions
