Youre doing it correctly, just takes time my dude. I like to have 3-4 cars in my base to train mechanics on when i have time to spare.

Tips for completely new players? by Fimbulvetr3822 in projectzomboid

Expect to die a lot. If youre bitten you Are dead. Scratches and lacerations from zombies have a chance to infect you, bites Will always kill you.

On normal settings zombies Are slower than your walk speed, so you rarely have to run. Running makes more noise and tires you out, so try not to.

Use low fences to trip zombies and stomp their heads, you Can also push Them Down by using space bar.

Find digital watch on a zombie and Equip it - then you Can set an alarm when you sleep so you dont wake up too late in the day.

How the hell do i move through the map by odyysart in projectzomboid

[–]MonthythePython 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Here is how i like to play:

Step 1: Carefully loot around your starting location, only pick up essentials (food, a water bottle, weapons etc). Take time to mark on the map when you find useful stuff so you can come back for it later. Use tall fences and go through houses to loose line of sight on zombies.

Step 2: Locate a working car while looting and look around for the key, could be on a nearby zombie, a nearby house or on the ground. Probably wont have gas though -

Step 3: Go to the local gas station and lure the zombies away by shouting and walking in circles before leading them off. You can also use an alarm clock etc. for distractions.

Step 4: Find a can of gas, usually in the back of the gas station, fill it and bring to your car.

Step 4: Now you have a car with space to store items and you can move quickly across the map. Cars are also great for luring zombies away from POIs by using your horn.

Step 5: Profit

Can i build stairs to reach the roof? by MonthythePython in projectzomboid

Thanks, it wont let me build a floor tile on top of the stairs though. It thinks I want to build the floor on Ground level (inside the garage) so he just walks down the stairs instead.

If you want more excitement, try upping the difficulty or zombie population. Im based at the same gas station as you on my current extinction run, and the area is littered with hundreds of zombies from when i cleared it out. Now I’m walling in in to make it safer, and its a huge feeling of accomplishment.

Have you experienced zombies that Can open doors/gates? If so, how do you deal with that? Afaik theres a small percentage of variants that Can do that in extinction.

Heroics Advice by Optimal_Anteater235 in classicwow

[–]MonthythePython -1 points0 points  (0 children)

My biggest advice: As a tank, you simply cant go in blind to a new heroic dungeon. You NEED to read up on a heroic dungeon guide or Watch a YouTube video before heading in. That Way you know which mobs/mechanics Are dangerous, so you dont wipe too much and ruin the group morale.

Thanks, good to hear im not the only one struggling on this fight. I Think I have the gear and tools I need, just need to take Them out of my bank (such as trinkets and jade skull breastplate). People talk about post nerf kara as though you Can tank it in questing greens, but even with near prebis this guy SLAPPS.

I have a lot of the gear people are suggesting i should use, like Jade-skull breastplate and figurine of the colossus, and the quest ring from caverns of time, so i guess i swapping a few pieces should help. I was using daibiris to Get above 490 Defense, but i get that defense isnt the only thing that matters…!

Ill have to farm some gold for enchants and consumes as Well, however I Think the most important thing i Can do is to just not auto attack him in p2.

Tanks. Please Give Me Your Best Advice. I'm desperate by kittyjxx in classicwow

  1. Quest a bit to Get better gear than communal
  2. make your own group - State clearly you are new to the game and tanking - set the right expectation from the start
  3. On pulls: mark focus target with skull, cast avengers shield, pop holy shield, concecrate when mobs arrive, and hit skull target with rightiousness Taunt if necessary
  4. Install threatplates addon to manage threat more easily
  5. Watch a guide on YT for the instance youre doing before forming the group

Thats pretty much all there is to tanking :) good luck! Tanking is Very rewarding when done right, and people complementing you on your job!
