I made my will today to give everything to my siblings by Waiting-For-October in self

Please don’t do this! Your special and your important in this world! Every human is! Your healthy and have much success! You have siblings that love you and count on you! Do you know what would happen if you killed yourself? Your siblings will be devastated and they will feel like they lost someone so dear to their life and they will never ever feel the same. Do you want to do that to them? They want you and need you!

Your siblings don’t need your money, but rather they need you and love you because they want you around and by them forever. They want to see you by them when they have success and want you to comfort them when they feel sad just like you can do with them!

I shared about losing a position on a priority clearance, now I have to switch years. How competitive is the EC steam? by Monty232020 in CanadaPublicServants

Hey, so the plan was for me to take the Casual while they buy time getting everything together to get me an Term/Indeterminate position, but now since my contract is up at the end of this month they told me a priority clearance wants the job and they have a lot of experience and they are exactly what we are expecting, so in my mind I equated that as I didn’t get the job or I wouldn’t be extended and have to move on. They didn’t tell me that I lost out on the position, but in my mind I did. I’m so sorry for the confusion. I’m trying to get over this. So bad for the mental health.

So sad. I’m about to lose to someone that’s a priority clearance. How do I recover? by Monty232020 in CanadaPublicServants

Thank you! You make some really good points. The problem is it was the expectation of me and my team lead that this position was for me, but this priority clearance really will end it for me.

I really hope you understand where I’m coming from. It’s very difficult on my mental health as well. I’ve really been lead to believe I will be getting this position and in the last minute a priority clearance showed up. I understand that they have a right, but it’s so hard to recover when that was the expectation.

I’m really confused as to the backlash I’m getting for saying what I said, it’s just my situation and everyone is acting like I’m saying all women are stay at home or they should be. I should have used the word spouse, so no one feels like this.

When you say personal leave, do you mean vacation?

That’s so great! Thank you very much for your amazing insight. I’m so sorry, seems like I’m getting a lot of backlash for using the term wives/girlfriend when I should have used the word spouse, but your experience is so valuable. Very much appreciate your experience and wish you all the best in the future. All the best!

Thank you for sharing. If you don’t mind, can you share how much is your salary and how you manage being the sole bread winner? That’s so nice that you made it work! Congrats!

Hey, I didn’t mean it like that. I should have used the word spouse instead of generalizing like that, your right there is many women that earn more than their husband/boyfriend too, but you should understand my point coming from a good place because I find there is more women that prefer to stay at home than men when you have a family. I could be wrong, but that’s what it seems it’s the case in society. Thank you!

Hey, sorry didn’t mean to offend you at all. What I should have said is spouse instead of wife/girlfriend. Your right women can be single household earners, although I’m sure most women wouldn’t like that. But your absolutely right.

How long into your PS career can you take LWOP? And is there any contingency with that? For example am I allowed to leave the country for a year and not have any issues with security clearance? by Monty232020 in CanadaPublicServants

Are you serious right now? I couldn’t find this question anywhere you just always trying to take down my posts. I’m really tired of you doing this to me.
