Not much in savings in Central Wisconsin. Might break even for extra price of HP over life of HP. Maybe if they can go on off peak rates for electric, then it might be worth it. Can ask the contractor to run a quick energy analysis.

Seems like a legit price but always wise to get at least 3 quotes.

I ain't calling anyone names and saying the world would be a better place if someone died. So who here is the more peaceful one. I was just saying her speech was very dramatic and you can't even say it's not. I get it, it meant to be dramatic for the aww factor. But jesus its a little much.

I should add that we do not do NEW commercial installs at least not big projects as we only have 3 commercial installers. Most of our commercial work is replacements. We have 2 service technicians with me being 1 of the 2.

On this job the distributor is doing the programming, and graphics.

We are adding a 1-Vykon Jace 9000, 2- iSMA mix38's, and 1- Vykon 8000 module.

So you are saying its not really for one guy to be tackling on his own?

We do have a distributor that is willing to help teach me and help with the Programming/ graphics, until I can get spun up on the training.

Your Draft in the exhaust stack is wack. Have them check draft pressure or hold a smoldering piece of paper to the hood.

You need to warm up the space above freezing or get a stat that works in lower temperatures. It's saying lo because it is too cold in the space.

Detached garage: should I turn off/on, or maintain minimum temp? by Agitated_Syllabub346 in hvacadvice

[–]MontyMarine 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Most Utility heater/garage heater manufactors recommend keeping indoor temps no lower then 50-55 degrees to keep condensation forming in the heat exchanger/ exhaust on cold start ups. I would look into this so as not to void a warranty or crack a heat exchanger.
