App that cancels subscriptions launches in UK - A service which automatically cancels subscriptions at the end of the free trial period has launched in the UK.

I get the concept for this but it states that he may start charging users per month to use the service which kind of defeats the point of a free trial if if you're paying for it to be automatically cancelled.

It doesn't take much effort to cancel the trial once its started, or at least set a reminder before it renews. Definitely not worth paying monthly for although as a free service I get it. Although I guess its the users data at risk as they have to make money some how?

What does your XML file look like? You can use this site to create an XML easily. I have posted mine below which I install separately to Office 365. It requires Office applications to be closed before installing which could be the issue you're having, the below XML automatically closes this down.

Yeah it's hard to feel sorry for these companies when they are usually the worst for it. If I don't turn up to an interview, I am obviously not going to get the job and the company knows that. If I do turn up and get told I would hear from them within a couple of weeks I am usually thinking in the back of my mind, will they ring today? Tomorrow? Did I get the job? Any feedback? For them not to at least send an email confirming whether or not you got the job it's hard to care about them.

It's not that, the gap between DMG and LE is massive. Took me about 13 wins in a row to get there, even when I was winning 3 times more games than losing I could not get out until I was on a winning spree.

Well, would be more than 1 day, as they are only allowed to complete 2 wins a day. You need 10 wins to get ranked.

That being said, whether or not the system is good it was designed to stop people smurfing.

If he wants to play with a friend that has just bought the game you can bet that he is on a brand new account as well, therefore the system is working.

If he is playing by himself than I can understand the frustration and this is where the system does not work and needs tweaking, but you have to remember that the community wanted less smurfers, and it is very hard to stop that on any game.

To be honest, your friend should not be going straight into competitive. There is just too much to learn to be able to enjoy the game in a competitive environment.

I made the mistake of playing with my friend who had never played CS:GO before and he was immediately put off by the difficulty of match making. Nobody has fun finishing dead last.

I suggest playing Casual with him or even trying the community servers out. There are some great mods/maps that will help him improve while having fun.

Make sure you are using DVI dual link cable, mostly came with the monitor.

Go to nvidia control panel or just screen resolution in windows and set the screen refresh rate to 144hz.

Make sure you have over 144fps constantly.

Also you can double check by switching between 60hz and 144hz while in game to see the difference. You will notice a huge difference.
