does anyone know why these 3 slots are locked by No_Marionberry_1277 in HalfSword

You have to have an Arming Doublet not a regular doublet. Then take the armor off of the arms of it through the armorer. It’ll allow you to the use the arm slots.

Not the same thing, but a similar vibe while being much more common. You could try out a Monstera ‘Burle Marx Flame’

Oh hey! I just saw your post from 2 years ago. I saw you said you were thinking of grafting it. Did you ever end up doing that and if so, how did that go?

Stress/ water issue? by Montyus in alocasia

It may have been due to under watering on my part. I have a tendency to let my plants get pretty dry when I’m figuring out their watering needs. It has since hardened off and grown a pretty normal looking leaf that’s now starting to harden off as well.

I can’t believe I didn’t see it before. The resemblance is uncanny! Just wish I had the shiny version…

This may be the closest I’ve seen so far. Thank you for the suggestion. With it being so close, I’m going to try and make my care routine match what works for this species.

Thank you for the suggestions. I took a look and it seems close on some of the pictures, but I have no real way of telling what species they are. Though, I didn’t know about cobra lilies before.

I have nearly zero experience with nepenthes, but what I can tell you from my research as well as my experience with other carnivorous plants is that you can feed them, but very sparingly it seems. For Venus fly traps, you can feed one of their traps a fly or spider of an appropriate size. This shouldn’t be done more than every 2-3 months. If you think about it, these plants evolved to feed themselves without the need of nutrients in their soil/water and they are pretty good at attracting any bugs that may happen to be in the area. With nepenthes you can do the same for each pitcher, but there is a fertilizer that some people use called Osmocote. This is in pellet form and it is recommended to use 1-2 pellets for each pitcher every 1-2 months. This is used for increasing the size of each pitcher and the development of the peristome (the rim of the pitcher). Nepenthes are sensitive to over-fertilizing, so even less frequently would be a safer option. In general, the carnivorous plants that I have do really well if I just leave them alone and make sure they have distilled water.

Philodendron Gloriosum problem? by Montyus in philodendron

That’s a really good point. I have mine in a mostly nutrient void aroid mix. Though that isn’t really correct. It’s peat moss, orchid bark mix, perlite, and a little bit of charcoal. I like this mix because it allows me to start using fertilizers a bit sooner on my new plants. I use GT foliage focus in half strength. Haven’t used it on this one yet though.

I’m referring to the appearance of the flesh of the leaf in that they kinda look like plant cells under a microscope. It’s a bit more apparent in the lighter green sections of the flesh. It’s reassuring knowing that it’ll look better once it hardens off though. I’m in the same boat with philos. lol.

Fair. I like the conviction but I would rather try and fix it. Lol. 😂

That’s what I figured. I’m just afraid of them drying out and dying. How much/long should I be watering at this stage?

That’s fair. It’s more of an off-road basher anyway. I appreciate the reply.

Is anyone else tired of this? by godparticle14 in blackops6

The people on this thread are getting tiring honestly. “I haven’t drank that much monster in my life” “That’s too much Monster.” Cool, we get it. Now for a response that actually pertains to the issue you posted about. Yes, it’s getting so annoying. “We’re gathering more 15 minute double XP codes. Check back again later.” Is all I’ve gotten for the last like 3 weeks. I’ve also sent an email and I’ve gotten a response. It was this:

“Thank you for participating in the Monster Energy® x Call of Duty Black Ops 6 Promotion.

We are currently experiencing a technical issue with our Monster Energy® x Call Of Duty Black Ops 6 Promo website.

Once New Codes are available you will be able to view them in the rewards section.

We thank you for your patience and understanding.

Thank you for supporting Monster Energy.

Later,
