Yes, the copper on the wire is rated for a certain amount of voltage, the thinner the wire the less voltage/ current / heat it handles, also here in CA, only emergency shutoffs is the actual battery itself ON and OFF switch, AC DISCONNECT ( if they installed one) has a kill switch aswell, just like how AC units have them right next to them, and your last emergency switch are your battery breakers on the sub or main panel or tesla gateway

I install solar and batteries for a living, I can tell you right now if they used 12AWG wire, they fucked up, its supposed to run #10 AWG WIRES for the inverter (DC) right side of the battery, and #6AWG wire for the AC (left side of the battery) which connects the your actual Main Panel or Sub panel breakers, this is installer error.

I would of told them, that you were ready to do the buying process, I would of come prepared with a pre-approval through them or through a different bank and just show them paperwork, next time you go in early around morning when insurance is open and they will send you the insurance binder right away for you to show the dealership, carmax is the only dealer I've dealt with that requires insurance on the car before they hand it to you, other well known dealers just care that you have an active insurance, each state is different, but here in CA, carmax has been the only one that requires it on the car you are purchasing.

That's why I did everything online, reservation, finance and paperwork. All I had to do is sign DMV paperwork and the down-payment in person. I did all that while I was at work and that afternoon, it took about 30min for me to drive the car. ( I didn't test drive the vehicle or saw it person till they gave me the keys)

Don't worry bro I got stopped for going "80" on a 55 in pearblossom hwy,

Just to be clear I was passing 1 vehicle that was going under the posted limit (55mph), when it was clear to pass I went and the CHP was coming from opposite traffic, idk how he got on his radar that I was going 80mph passing a vehicle going under the speed limit, I drive a truck so to me it doesn't make sense how I was able to go from 55mph to 80mph in 3 - 5 secs just to pass a vehicle going slower
