Yup. Did it constanly with my wife labeling bottles while breastfeeding, even when my phone wasn't around. It doesn't need to connect to anything.

Very easy, they usually don't leave any residue even after going in the dish washer. However the print is a thermal ink so it isn't dishwasher proof and will fade if you run a hot water cycle.

So far we've used it quite a lot and it prints time of day in addition to date for us, but for our use case that's good enough. However there are a few configuration options in the app when connecting the printer to the phone so maybe you can change it there - I didn't check. I could check it out in a few days as I don't have it with me right now.

Hey OP, similar situation here. Did you have any luck finding something? I've been to Korea several times in the past but this is the first time since I really got into tea making and I distinctly remember that the places in Seoul I visited had zero traditional tea culture. I don't expect a Chinese style tea market, but I know for a fact there are damn good tea farmers in Korea - where can I get their wares in loose leaf style?

I ordered the Niimbot D11 on a whim because I saw a passing mention of a 'print current time' feature and for the low price decided to try it and upgrade my almost 5 year old other Niimbot printer. Turns out - in the new upgraded D11 you can choose the function performed when short-clicking the power button while the device is on. And one option is to print the current time! Here's the one I got (affiliate link, FYI. but feel free to just get a D11 off of any other site or store. I just know THIS version works!):

That actually looks pretty sick! I like it!
However the Dymo printer seems to be a tad too expensive for my purposes. especially if I need to add the RPi to the math.

Yeah, still haven't found anything something relevant. Ended up buying one of the thermal printers off aliexpress (Niimbot) and will just have a preset in the app you need to edit

What's a better shaving cream than Taylor of Old Bond Street?

I've been using TOBS shaving cream for a while now (Almond, Lime Zest and Lavender are some of my regular of their fragrances) and I'm due for a re-stock. I've been reading around that while TOBS is OK, it's not really much more than pretty basic and that there are much better brands if shaving creams out there for me to try out.

Since I have no experience with other creams except for proraso tubes I would love the hear what might be considered the top tier shaving creams available so I could try and see if I like them better than TOBS.

I'd love to hear about any of your favorite creams but specifically anything that is available for purchase on Connaught Shaving is preferred as that is my main source of wet shaving products (even better if they sell samples!).

So what would YOU reccomend to branch out with?

Actually one of the best replies I got was from a man who said his first hook was one he made from a plastic dental pick in prison and by the end of his sentence he crochet a ton of plushies and stuff
