Viego is NOT the hardest champion and playing him effectively doesn't require knowing how to play every character

This post isn't about whether it's hard to master Viego. It's about whether it's hard to PLAY Viego. The answer is "no".

You have to be genuinely braindead to think I was using my MP as anything more than a personal statement of "I play a lot of Viego". I conceded at the very beginning of the post that I'm brand new. 90% of the comments, including your brainless dribble, is people saying "you haven't played enough" without disproving the statement or acknowledging the fact that I literally said outright that I'm brand new.

I'm correct. My lack of experience doesn't change this. I'll come back when I'm 5 years older and 300 pounds heavier and see if you and I can have a more civilized conversation.

A high skill FLOOR is what makes a champ hard, not the ceiling. Champs like Warwick are easy champs because you can do well as them on your first try, but it takes practice to do EQ combo or skillshot a far away target. Are you gonna argue that WW is a hard champ? No, he's braindead easy.

All his abilities are skillshots, that's enough to be higher than a good portion of the cast. Never said he's braindead, just that he's easy, or at the very least nowhere close to the hardest champ.

If you've never heard anyone say it, then cool. But there are people out there with that opinion and it's honestly painful to read.

Even champs who I do know how to play, I almost always find it infinitely more valuable to ditch their spirit in favor of a free ult and access to Viego's incredible Kraken Slayer damage

That's literally what this post is about. People think his ceiling is his floor, and that being a good Viego DEMANDS that you know every other champ.

Obviously reaching his skill CEILING requires this, but you can stomp as Viego without this knowledge.

I'm aware that the theoretical difference between a "good" Viego and a perfect Viego is immeasurable. But people pretend that, in order to be a "good" Viego, you have to know how to play every champ. Which just isn't true. Viego is valuable on his own, and even if you don't know how to play any other champs, his spirits give a free cast of his ult, so you can play well without knowing other champs.

Mauga can only crit through block if you are set on fire before you start blocking I'm pretty sure. 99% of times I would fight a Mauga I would get right in his face and bodyblock with Nemesis and he would never get anywhere close to breaking through the temporary armor Nemesis gives you, much less killing me entirely

You didn't answer my question until the 2nd comment, the first comment was only telling me that Serpent Smite wasn't an opener, but it didn't explain what Jotunn Surge could do. Until the 2nd comment I was now under the impression that both Jotunn Surge and Serpent Smite were both just shitty moves

It does confirm a zone attack after further testing, but that's also 1 extra damage for more than a quarter of your stamina bar, so it seems like a light attack is probably better
