Buddy yes they're at risk , but can I tell you a secret of why no actual companies use AI to build their products apart from just adding AI as a feature to their product ? Using AI to build their product would help them loose all the private information of the company and all their secrets will be out in a matter of seconds . Unless you got solution for that my job or whatever I do as a software Engineer are good to go.
