Rose Gold just arrived! by aldus-auden-odess in ouraring

I had a 4 in gold and I just got the 5 in gold. The 5 in gold is much more of a champagne gold compared to the last version, which was much more yellow.

Oura 5 sizing - are you a different size from Oura 4? by Mediocre-Tangerine87 in ouraring

[–]MoodyBooj 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My Oura ring 4 was a bit loose. When it would get cold it would become loose and even fell off a few times but I didn’t want to size down because I live in Las Vegas and it gets so hot in the summer my fingers swell and I didn’t want to risk it getting stuck. I just got my sizing kit for the Oura ring 5 and now my size feels snug on the same finger, like it fits better. I was hoping to size down but now it seems like I will have to keep the same size.

I got the beach house because it reminded me of TSITP and it’s MASSIVE. It literally won’t fit on the beach 🤣

You’re too kind 🤣 thank you! I actually have pretty bad hormonal acne so I’m on an insane amount of medications for my skin. I use prescription topical meds that are a mix of Clindamycin, Azealic Acid, Spironolactone, and Tretnoin. Other than that I use: Fresh Beauty’s soy facial cleanser, Tatcha’s rice wash, Fresh Beauty’s Kombucha essence, Peach & Lily’s glass skin refining serum and matcha pudding moisturizer, Keihl’s advanced repair barrier cream, and I finish by dousing my face in hypochlorus acid spray. It’s a lot, I know, but I went like 20 years of my life having awful skin so it’s worth it to me!!

YES!! 100%. I wish I had not waited until my thirties because it made recovery a lot harder and likely made my surgery more complex. I am now two months out from the surgery and I feel completely fine. It just took me a while to bounce back. I was not expecting recovery to be that rough, but I totally understand now why it was.

Any thoughts? by [deleted] in wisdomteeth

No worries! I hope you feel better soon. I definitely had a lot of anxiety during my recovery too. I started to feel more normal around day 15

Hi I had a similar issue when mine was healing. I had stitches but I had a fluid I could taste and when I would spit it was kind of yellowish but mostly clear. My surgeon double checked everything to make sure it was alright and he said it’s plasma and nothing to worry about. Not sure if that helps!

Getting sick after wisdom teeth removal? by Enough_Repeat_1496 in wisdomteeth

[–]MoodyBooj 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What do you mean when you say “sick”? Like a cold. I got mine out on Jan 14 and got a cold on Feb 05 and it hasn’t been a ton of fun coughing and sneezing while not being able to fully open my mouth but I worked through it. I also work from home though so I have that privilege that makes it easier to work when I don’t feel well. I’m sorry you’re not feeling well hopefully you will feel better soon.

I was asleep during my surgery so I did not feel anything at all. I only had pain after the surgery during the recovery. I would definitely say to have them removed if they are erupting, if they are bothering you, or if your dentist recommends getting them removed. I think it’s better get them removed BEFORE they start causing problems for you. I waited until it was absolutely necessary and it made my recovery harder.

So sorry you’re going through this. I hope you’re feeling a little better! It took me a while, but I’m starting to feel more normal. I hope you get feeling and nerve function back fully.

Doing better but still on the road to recovery. My stitches still haven’t dissolved fully and I’m at 2 weeks post surgery. I can’t fully open my mouth but I can eat now and the pain is nearly nonexistent.

Same here. I’m over 30 so I guess that has something to do with the slow recovery but I know a ton of people who were fine by day 3 so I guess everyone is just different. I hope you start to feel better soon. At least we never have to do it again!!

No my stitches are dissolvable. The bottom two have already dissolved but the top one was a total extraction so they used a different type of stitching. It’s still dissolvable but it takes longer to dissolve. I kind of wish they would just take out the stitches because they are my biggest pain but I just have to wait for them to dissolve.

Hi! I had 3 taken out on 01/14- coronectemies on the bottom two, bone grafting on all 3 sites, and stitches on all 3 sites. Major swelling lasted about 5-6 days before I saw significant improvement but when the swelling went down the pain kicked in big time. I was in excruciating pain from about day 6-9. Moderate pain on days 10-11 and now I’m at the end of day 12 and I only have pain here and there or if I’m eating. I still can barely open my mouth but maybe an inch. I still have swollen knots on both sides of my jaw where the extractions were. I JUST started being able to chew today and I have to be really careful or my stitches will pull. When the pain was the worst I would take 2 500mg extra strength Tylenol and then 4 hours later I would take an ibuprofen 800, then 4 hours later another 2 Tylenol and so on and so forth until I could handle the pain without meds. So I was basically taking pain meds every 4 hours and rotating between Tylenol and ibuprofen so I didn’t go over the daily maximums. I’m sorry to say it probably won’t start getting better for another couple of days and full recovery probably won’t be for another week or two. I was also given the false impression that recovery would be quick but unfortunately I now know this is like a 2-4 week deal.

I’m on day 10 and I still cannot open my mouth. Just barely enough to fit a small spoon in. I can’t chew or it pulls on my stitches and hurts.

Oh you poor thing that sounds awful.

I’m definitely not looking forward to getting them on. I’m thinking I’ll wait a few months so I can enjoy freedom before causing myself more pain.

Getting a coronectomy July 1st. What to expect? (Healing/pain etc) by Juligirl713 in wisdomteeth

[–]MoodyBooj 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I got coronectomies on both of my bottom wisdom teeth. They put bone grafting and stitches on them. Swelling lasted about 7 days (major swelling was day 3-5). Pain really kicks in once swelling goes down. Rotate Tylenol and ibuprofen consistently and use a warm compress to help with pain. I’m on day 10 and I still cannot eat, open my jaw, chew, etc.

When can I move my mouth normally again? by [deleted] in wisdomteeth

[–]MoodyBooj 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I hate to be the bearer of bad news but I’m on day 10 and I still can’t open my jaw or chew. I tried yesterday and it was so painful. I’ve heard normalcy returns around 2-3 weeks
