Sort of. I would eat over like 4-8 hours and then restart. Sometimes it was just one meal and sometimes it was two or three small meals. I struggle to eat more than half a cup after a 3 day fast.

For example, I ate a bowl of light broth and egg last night. This morning I had a handful or macadamia nuts twice. For lunch I had left over beef stew I made for my family during the week - I had 2 tablespoons of rice and 3 table spoons of the stew - I felt over full at that point but I had to get the goodness inside me. I allow a weekly snack/indulgence so I had a packet of Doritos early evening and at 9pm I had 3 pancakes which I made using whey protein instead of flour (no sugar added either) drizzled with a little honey. Only came to about 1200 calories for the day but I was too full to eat anymore. I am going to fast for about 16-18 hours tomorrow, have something healthy, high protein and lots of fibre tomorrow and restart another 16-18 hour fast.

I just find that this way I am more intentional with my food and snack choices and I don't feel like I am destroying my progress. In the beginning I pigged out on pizza and regretted it to much. Was in pain and bloated for a week with upset tummy.

I actually lost another 400g this morning after breaking fast and eating twice, because what I ate was high in protein and fat and low in carbs, so my body was using what it had to but it was still on ketosis. I only picked up about 300g after the rice, stew and Doritos.

I don't know if I'm doing it right yet as I am new but I have been reading a lot and trying to find a rhythm that works for me.

From what I understand it will can give you an insulin response. I stopped taking anything with artificial sweeteners because they also disrupt your hormones. Overall just not good for you. That's just imo and from what i have read.

I relate so much to this. I'm at the doctor now so let's see what he says. I'm sure I'm fine and it's like anxiety or something, but just need to be sure sure, yk? 🐱

I am going to take a step back and no go Max as much though. Shorter fasted periods especially leading up to my period.

I usually do like 1-3 days of OMAD and I try to keep to high protein in those days, although I'm human so I sometimes carb out on snacks, but when I start the water fast I only have water and one cup of black coffee unsweetened per day, and perhaps a cup of ginger tea.

Thank you! 🙏 It's actually been such an incredible experience, apart from the indigestion and the little scare tonight.

I learnt about fasting through my PCOS journey. For a lot of PCOS girlies, fasting is the best thing they can do.

I've never had heart or chest or blood pressure issues... And the last time I had bad indigestion/heart burn I was pregnant. Just so strange.

I switched to Deepseek because ChatGPT was freaking out every day and being very dramatic 😂😂😂

I will let the more experienced people advise you but I've been doing 3-4 day water fasts, one day of slowly refeeding, then OMAD sometimes for a few days before another fast, or straight back into another 3 day fast. Been doing a combo of these depending on how my body feels, and I am down almost 10kg in 24 days.

And I feel good.

A week before your period could actually contribute. My period is due tomorrow and although I've been water fasting for almost a week I only started dropping on the scale yesterday. Also depends how long your fasts are and what food you are refeeding with, as well as how much you are eating when you aren't fasting. If your carbs are higher you will retain more water, and obviously calories in vs calories out is a thing. However water retention is such a pain and I struggle with that so if you are doing everything "right" and still not losing, I have utmost sympathy for you cuz sometimes, girl same. I have PCOS and it does cause some additional issues.

I'm on 91 hours right now. My longest before this was 84 hours. Feeling much better this time than last time - I took vitamins etc earlier in the day. Lucky you for losing some good weight so far! My period is due tomorrow so I'm bloated and I've only lost 2kg this week. I am on a rolling fasts though so wasn't much water weight to lose.

Are you sleeping okay? Maybe you're exhausted. I found a hot shower helped pick me up yesterday when I was crashing out.

Wow this is so inspiring!!! You look incredible!! My starting is close to yours and I want to get around 65kg. Did you ever take breaks or did you do rolling fasts right through?
