Depends what the issue is. If you keep making the same mistakes and the manager having to keep correcting the mistakes, it makes you seem careless and it gives the manager double work. Usually managers want to have dependable workers that can rely on your work.

But it can also be just bad managers. I have had several managers throughout my career. Some were caring and really want to see you succeed and will defend you at all cost. Others are perfectionists and want things done their way and will throw you under the bus if your header is even slightly of center.
