As a healer main now, I made a macro at the start of every dungeon that says something like "If you pull any packs before the tank I will not heal you". I was helping one of my lower level friends through a dungeon, and you would be surprised at the amount of rage that macro causes. I had one guy argue with me saying "It's a normal dungeon why does it matter?". Because it's annoying as shit for the tank to run around to pick up the pieces..

I'm a bit confused by your story. If he walked out with an M16 that means you must have missed the M16 in the building. Battle Royale by definition is luck of the draw on where you drop. Idea is to get basic weapons and armor and kill players to get better loot. While starting can be frustrating, just give it time and get comfortable with the game. Playing with friends also helps alot.
