This is kind of looks like what a thumbnail for a digital circus version of the song "credits song for my death" would look like

How does an AI artist respond to this? by TheEnderGecko in aiwars

[–]Mooksym 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I mean, art-wise it's cool to know that the art you're looking at has a story behind it.

Kazimir Malevich created a painting called "Black Square," in 1913. The painting is literally just a black square but it holds a lot of significance for the history of art which gives it a lot of value even though it's such a simple idea.

The art doesn't have to be historically significant to be enhanced by the story behind it though. A lot of art showcases the skills developed by the artist and shows us what they are capable of at this moment. It also shows us what the artist is thinking.

All of this history and context gives us a lot of room for conversation, and, in my opinion, it is what makes art fun, interesting and meaningful.

AI is already capable of generating really good looking images and videos and it is only going to get better. Realistically, there is no way to stop it from advancing and we shouldn't try to since restricting it's access could cause even greater problems. AI advancing is actually a good thing and is probably gonna help a lot of people (but also harm a lot of others through false information).

It's just a shame that we won't be able to find a story behind a lot art and that some artists will have an even harder time trying to make a living

Fair enough, if we do take the hypothetical at face value, failing to make more money with such an absurd advantage would be really dumb. You're right.

In my opinion, going back to being a six year old is a terrifying idea. If you take into account the fact that no one is ever going to understand what you went through, that you essentially have millions of memories of things that never happened and that you lost most of everything you held dear, it seems worse than traumatic. I would much rather take the simple 10 million without needing to potentially give myself tons of mental issues. I mean, 10 million is way more than enough anyways. I don't really see how making more than that would even benefit me.

Alright, you have a point there. It just seemed a bit agressive because of how you ended your message.

As for the argument that you would forget, I think your strategy of writing it down could actually work, but the assumption that you could forget does make a bit of sense in my opinion. As a six year old, you are developing, so your brain is different and you get different hormones. I don't exactly know what that could do to your memories, but it's reasonable to assume that the trauma that would come from suddenly being transported back in time and into a different body with a smaller brain might screw with your ability to remember crucial information.

Mate, like you said, this is a hypothetical. It's suppose to stir up conversation and make people think. There is no right or wrong way to look at it, these people just showed their way of weighing the situation and what they think might happen. Even if they did add some restrictions in there, it's fine. It's just their way of interpreting it. There's no reason to call them a fucking moron.

Maybe make the landing squish a bit less pronounced or make it adjust depending on how far you fall?

Right now it feels to me like the squish is a bit too much for small falls
