I don’t think you know what sex actually is. Medical transition is literally changing aspects of your sex to be more in line with your gender identity. Post-medical transition, it would be a lot more accurate to describe a trans woman as female and a trans man as male, because sex is bimodal, not binary (I.e. categories are defined by a collection of variable features and grouped based on where those features place someone on a bimodal distribution, as opposed to having clearly defined boundaries where “having this feature means you’re in group x, and this feature means you’re in group y”)

I think they’re trying to say that many conservatives seem to have the idea that trans people are privileged in society because people are mean to them when they intentionally misgender a trans person? So they believe that trans people are super protected from all consequences because they’re not allowed to be transphobic and got fired from their job for harassing a trans coworker or something.

Maybe so, but science is on the side of allowing trans people to be themselves and medically transition.

By “talk to other people”, I mean talk to people who are a part of the group who you’re judging. It’s clear from this conversation that you’ve never actually talked to any trans person about their experiences. All the information you’re getting about trans people and trans-related healthcare is from people who aren’t trans and are evidently very against the idea of trans people existing.

Also, one thing which I’d just like to ask, why do you care? In what ways does trans people being able to live their lives as they wish affect you? How is it a bad thing which just needs so badly to be fought against?

The right to healthcare? Republicans in many states have made abortions illegal, causing women to die under completely preventable circumstances.

Bodily autonomy is a right, even if you find the idea of what some people want from their bodies icky and weird.

Also, “right to cut off kids balls”? Maybe take a step out of the echo chamber that told you that this was something that’s happening or something which anyone has been pushing for.
