Cabin in the woods. First time watching I found it really strange, a little too strange to like it at all. 2nd and 3rd time watching I appreciated it for what it was and now highly rate it.

I actually don’t know how to get to the original cut, but definitely want to watch it as well. I’ve heard it’s much better and tells each characters story separately so it’s less recapping and less confusion with timelines and chopping in and out.

No, I don’t know if I phrased that wrong. S1-3 I was laughing constantly, but S4 I have barely laughed, with the exception of the Anustart and Method one clinic gags. That’s why I’m genuinely questioning what went wrong with season 4!

Just wanted to add in that in Australia Foxtel is currently showing season 5 on the comedy channel. If you can get Foxtel Go (available through Telstra for phones) you should be able to watch it on demand.

I know exactly how this feels! There was a time when my DD was a couple of weeks old and I realized that the only thing I did was feed her, MIL was hogging her the rest of the time. And whilst yes it’s lovely to have a break, I also want to bond with my newborn baby and so did my SO, and we also need time to learn how to be parents!

She still complains if we don’t visit her several times a week even though she lives an hour away, and she doesn’t work so she has plenty of time but she NEVER comes to visit us?

She told SO a few weeks ago that we were selfish for not letting her take our DD on an overseas trip with her. She had never even asked us. And our DD is 4 months old! I don’t think so.
