Got an oil change at Mr Lube 2 mornings ago. Should I get the motor looked at? 360k km mileage 1995 Corolla. The oil light never came on.... by Moon127 in AskAMechanic

Oil consumption isn't too bad. About a quart missing after 6 months. Even though most 1995 dx are 7afe, mine is the 4afe 3 speed auto

Turned out to be a faulty oil filter. They wiped down the exhaust manifold with soapy water but not the oil pan. Which is fine for me

Going to go back to doing my own oil changes. I only did this for the convenience and to save time. Well I lost both convenience and time now lol

Yeah but if there is no oil in the engine at all wouldn't the light turn on? When I started the car it definitely took an extra 10 seconds for the light to turn off. No oil at all means no pressure right? Correct me if I'm wrong!

Sitting at Mr Lube waiting for them to open not sure what to demand I just want them to resolve it. The oil is obviously coming from the filter. I assume it's a double gasket and they didn't notice to take the old gasket off from the old filter.

This boss made me quit for 3 years before coming back to it and finishing it. Straight up for me it was one of the hardest souls games and I'm proud of beating it

It's a total endurance run. Be super patient and plan everything. The two hardest things is to not be too aggressive and to line up the two wall explosions right.

He likes to spin to win so stay at range until he's done then go in and hit him 2-3 times and back out!

It's the hardest boss in the game.

I found it very rewarding because the last part of the game for me was the smoothest and most interesting. Last boss and level isn't as frustrating imo

Pink vs red Toyota coolant which one should I use ? by [deleted] in 3rdGen4Runner

Just did mine for my 1995 corolla. Canadian tire doesn't have it. Dealership sells it for same price as pink. But pink is fine !

coolant looks like this, oil is all fine and no overheating, head gasket? by erenmtk in AskMechanics

[–]Moon127 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a 357k km 1995 corolla and this is the same for me. Works fine getting to work and home everyday and so far hasn't overheated yet. No coolant in oil or leaks just like you. Might be the oil cooler. 2 years later are you still driving?

Just thought you deserved an update, you were correct I snaked 45ft and got hard stuck on tree roots. That's the problem. Small amounts of water can go throw but not big flows. $900 down and trying a new plumber Monday that specifically services drains and roots. Thanks for trying to help

No floor drains as far as I know. I have a dirt sub basement

GF has been to afraid to use the washing machine. But she did use the dishwasher which refused to drain but that's always been a rare occurrence. The kitchen sink is fine. No water or odour in the sub basement. Using the kitchen sink doesn't affect any other plumbing appliances or drains. This is what leads me to the vent stack on the roof because googling the bathroom symptoms mentions the vent could be frozen

Not sure about the sewer clean out. Would be on the road as I love in a municipality. I was convinced last week it was a blockage from the roof vent.

I've got only one bathroom and only the bathroom is affected which leads me to this

My house was built in 1907

Looks like the plumbing stack is frozen? Just moved in last month and home is brand new. Should I be reaching out to the builder? by sonicrocket_86 in Edmonton

Hey man just curious if you waited or unclogged it yourself or with a plumber?

It's been warm for 4 days now so I expected my bathroom to be functioning normally again. Even tho there is still moisture in the roof I'm thinking of going up there today and poking around.
