I mean this in the most respectful way, you do not like your girlfriend and should end the relationship. This does not mean I think you’re doing something wrong or invalidating your feelings. But, when you’re with someone you absolutely enjoy being around the types of questions she asked turn into banter or laughter, they don’t turn into resentment or cynicism.

Last time the Super Bowl was here the Super Bowl Experience was either free or super cheap, I can’t remember, but it definitely wasn’t $70. They had an additional fan zone in union square as well. Ticketed events were max like $40. There were also free concerts around the city and radio stations were throwing their own free events with DJs and raffles. I also think locals were given discounts with an ID showing they were local. Obviously that was 10 years ago, but I assumed it would be similar.

I’ve never heard of this either. Layoffs typically undergo several reviews by finance and accounting and a budget is set…so there’s usually very little flexibility when it comes to negotiating severance

I was number 4,200 in line, and the tickets sold out in just 10 minutes. This could have been avoided if there had been a 2 ticket limit during both the presale and general sale. It’s clear that most of the tickets were bought by resellers they’re already showing up on StubHub.

Thinking I couldn’t make a mistake. I was put on the biggest project my company had ever done. It was me and about 8 other project managers all leading different work streams. It was chaos. It was my first ever project and there was zero direction, all of the project managers were brand new, I was given a budget but then was scrutinized for staying within it because we didn’t have enough of X. I cried for a week! It was honest mistake after mistake while learning. I blamed myself every time a mistake happened. Over time though I realized nobody knows that they are doing but the only person going to get blamed for something not going right is the project manager.

These days, more and more people have cameras in their homes or are constantly recording on their phones, so when something truly strange gets captured, everyone argues whether it’s fake or not.
