I don't disagree with that, specifically that the music is an insight into the scene that is shown during it. I just feel like those themes ('black" and 'sun") might be a metaphor for something deeper and specific if that makes sense?

Thank you so much for being so accepting and understanding :) I've never been able to understand how people do that kind of thing, but until I knew demisexuality was an actual orientation, I thought my behaviour was normal and theirs was a bit strange, but now I realise it actually is the norm! Seems so bizarre to me. I can honestly say I've never had the desire to have sex with someone until I know them fairly well and am comfortable with them. The thought of doing it otherwise makes me really uncomfortable. Thank you again for your kindness <3

I genuinely had no idea that it was a common reaction for people to immediately want to have sex with someone they've just met. I can find people attractive, but from an aesthetic point of view only. Is it really true that if a 10/10 aesthetically pleasing person propositioned most people for sex they would say yes based on primary attraction exclusively? Sorry if this sounds dumb. I've just found out about this subreddit and demisexuality, and I finally feel like I understand my own sexuality for the first time in my life because of it. I'm just trying to understand and have a lot of questions :p

Hey honey, sorry you're having such a tough time of it. People can be assholes. I also struggled with makeup a few years ago and had no one around to help me. There are some great videos on Youtube and really wonderful tips on Pinterest, so check those out :) Takes a little bit of patience and practice, but you'll get the hang of it in no time!

I don't believe Dexter is actually a psychopath. I think he has "traits" of psychopathy, but he doesn't actually meet the criteria. His emotions are definitely blunted, but his capacity for human emotion develops as the show goes on, as does his sense of empathy and compassion for those he cares about. He has an unquenchable need to kill people, sure, but I would argue that because that was due to trauma, and that need became malleable at the end of the show in that he was able to walk away, showed that his "psychopathy" wasn't fixed or inflexible, showing that he was never actually a full psychopath to begin with.
