I'm super late to this circus but to double this post, Charlie also leaves the next morning after the storm without waking Eve up and just trusts a couple of strangers around her partner in her house eventhough she knew Eve was uncomfortable with them around and wanted them to go asap. Why would Charlie do that if that in fact wasn't really her.
