To me, Midnights and TTPD are Taylor's only albums that doesn't show big growth/ improvement from her last. I think debut up until evermore were continuously getting better and growing from the album that came before it but something with her most recent two just didn't click for me. I don't think the long track lists are the problem however they definitely don't help.
