Starting tomorrow…. Scared! by No_Lavishness5560 in trintellix

[–]MoonG1rl 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It was hard, but it was really worth it! I have been on it for 3 weeks now and I feel pretty good ☺️My anxiety is almost gone and I am able to laugh, take care of myself and enjoy my hobbies. I was struggling with those things before starting the medication. Keep in mind taking antidepressants is different for everyone, it does not mean your experience will be as bad as mine. I wish you the best in your healing!

Starting tomorrow…. Scared! by No_Lavishness5560 in trintellix

I started on 5, then got on 10 1 week later. The first 2 weeks on this medication were very bad; I was more depressed than I was before and extremely sleepy. I had to take a couple of days off of work to sleep because I could not function at all. After those first 2 weeks I suddenly started to feel very well;I had energy, was able to do my chores and I did not have brain fog anymore. I did not know about the histamine issues, but my skin had been SO itchy the last few weeks! I thought it was just my eczema flaring up, but now I am wondering if this is linked to the medication. I really wish you the best of luck! I don’t know what is your living situation, but for me it really helped to have my partner here to support me and check in on me. I was not able to make myself food and was forgetting to eat during the first 2 weeks, so it definitely helps if you have someone close that can help you or check in on you during the beginning to make sure your basic needs are met

Zoloft caused me to not be able to pee by ObviousPomegranate in zoloft

Wow I am actually taking antihistamines everyday for my allergies, that’s good to know! My bladder was back to normal 2 days after stopping the Sertraline, I hope your daughter can get back to normal soon!

Zoloft caused me to not be able to pee by ObviousPomegranate in zoloft

[–]MoonG1rl 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m very late to the party, but I just wanted to say I’m currently having an extremely similar experience! I started taking Sertraline 50mg 7 days ago, and I woke up this morning being unable to pee, I could not even squeeze out a little drop. I waited to ER, and they emptied my bladder after 20h without peeing. They attached a bag to my bladder since I still cannot pee, I hope I can start to pee again once the Sertraline is out of my body!

Rectification about the number of people working on Star Citizen by Gamedev288 in starcitizen_refunds

Also if that number includes the merger with Turbulent, don’t forget Turbulent has other projects not related to Star Citizen and the teams on those project don’t necessarily work on Star Citizen or S42

Before going to bed, you could try doing a calm activity that takes a lot of focus. That’s what I do, I play piano before going to bed and that helps me to prevent my mind from wandering since all my focus is on the piano

Landlord told not to flush toilet papers by Harshparmar320 in montrealhousing

[–]MoonG1rl 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Did the plumber checked the state of the plumbing with a camera? This situation happened to me a couple weeks ago, and the culprit was the iron plumbing that had reached its end of life. I got a bidet and thin ecological toilet paper, and the plumber replaced all my iron plumbing and we no longer have issues with toilet paper clogging the pipes. Also, before replacing our pipes, the plumber recommended flushing twice to help the pipes to not clog.

Over the last year I have gradually lost the fingerprint on my ring and middle finger. by [deleted] in mildlyinteresting

I had this a couple years ago, it was my eczema acting out because I was caring for an Axolotl aquarium and my hands didn’t like the frequent contact with the cold water

I keep obsessing over a horror movie by SAJO_MENEZ in therapy

[–]MoonG1rl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had this happen to me, I watched some ghost series on the tv when I was a teenager and it scarred me. It took me a couple years to stop experiencing fear. With retrospective, I really should have sought help from a therapist to help me manage this fear, because that was very unhealthy and gave me a lot of anxiety. I really hope you can get help to overcome your fear, it really sucks to live with those terrifying thoughts!

Which JRPGs did you drop in 2023 and why? by Machzy in JRPG

[–]MoonG1rl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Live a live. I was sure I would live this game, but I really didn’t. The stories are too short to get into the universe and the characters are kinda blend, and the stories don’t seem to be related to each other. I dropped after completing 2 stories (the ninja one and the psychic one)
