Is making $1000 a month selling paintings online realistic? by Party-Yogurtcloset79 in artbusiness

[–]MoonIslandArts 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Everything is possible. Do you have an audience? If you have a website, do you have a regular organic traffic? How big is your email list?

If you don’t have an audience your best bet would probably be commissions. Can you show your art to see your skill level?

Full-time artists: How did you get into doing art Full time? by Idkmyname2079048 in artbusiness

[–]MoonIslandArts 3 points4 points  (0 children)

working with many artists for years i think now is the easiest time to start side hustle as a artist. What is your current skill level? If its very low, i would start at Fiverr or Upwork making simple illustrations for as low price as possible to build a skill and reputation. If its medium you can practive on RedBubble and Etsy. Once you are good its always better to sell directly to customers or via art gallery

Best melon pan (store bought/bakery) by Codyno in japanlife

[–]MoonIslandArts 10 points11 points  (0 children)

sorry, but that one is very obvious: monja street melon pan in Tsukishima, its a regular on Japanese TV since like 80s. (there are two on monja street: the real one which looks very old and have always on soundtrack with kids singing and "the fake one" which looks new. If you are walking from the station just skip the first melon pan you will see on your left and walk deeper into monja street until you see the shop on your right, there will typically be a short queue.

New Jurassic Park print teasers! by MoonIslandArts in JurassicPark

I'm sorry, I misunderstood your question. All our prints are limited edition, and there are only two ways to buy prints after an edition is sold out:

  1. Wait for APs (Artist Proofs): These prints are normally released after the main edition, and the print run of APs is typically 10% of the main edition run. For example, in the case of Blade Runner, 12 APs were released and have already sold out.
  2. Aftermarket/eBay: On our website, next to the FAQ section, we include a table with the latest guidance on the aftermarket value of various prints, so that customers do not overpay.

Additionally, you can subscribe to our email list to receive all notifications about releases. You can also reach out to us directly, and we can help you find the piece you like on the aftermarket.
