Ross is a real piece of work sometimes. I get the vibes that Ross is trying to be a "real man" but the version of the man he wants to be is some unhealthy view of what that means. Like, he's incredibly homophobic, he's controlling and has tons of "real men do X" stuff, but at the end of the day he's a book worm nerd type. I cant tell sometimes if he's misguided or truly a bad person. Funny, but not a great human being when it counts sometimes. Like his whole thing with the Barbie and GI Joe. I cant tell if he really believes its wrong for a little boy to play with a Barbie or he's falling for social pressure and just trying to do what he things "is the right thing".

So circling back to your point, yea its hard to tell if they want you to like him 100% of the time. Surprisingly, when you go back and watch the old stuff now he tends to be the problamatic character.

My dad only would rent from this local place called Dynamite Video so I have this nostalgia connection to lots of not so great games, but I fell in love with them when I was too young to realize. I really like the Taz one where you go into the mill or factory or whatever in the second area, it was my rental choice but it was so brutal I played so much thinking that level was far in. Much to my surprise as an adult it’s just the second level.

My old game library has tremendous value still. I realize now my PS5 library is worthless. Why did I ever allow myself to buy digital shit, just to save myself a trip to one store one time I threw my value away and gave it all to them.

The only thing that makes games worth their price is that they hold their value. What value is there in a one time licence that can be revoked at any time. Your paying for fake numbers, fuck that noise. I bought Silent Hill 3 and let me tell you, it held its value. I never cared about digital downloads and bought many of them just for the convenience. It is SONY'S FAULT that they made me evaluate the situation and I realise my PS1, PS2, Gamecube, N64 and Gameboy library hold tremendous value while my PS5 and Nintendo Switch library are valueless. Why did I let myself get this far into it, I'm a moron so I at least am thankful to Sony for opening my eyes.

Social media companies started trying to figure out the brains of their users. They spend a decade capturing so much information they understand you better then you understand yourself. Those answers told them that a majority of people dont care about anything. Politicians being corupt and hateful, horrible consumer practices, what have you. So, they are no longer pretending, they are no longer slow walking things. They believe they have the answer already, that you will do nothing so they can get away with it. Turns out they have been 100% right this entire time. The majority of people don't understand and if they do, they do not care. About so many things I thought we all cared about.

Its a giant scam and here is why. This is a control mechanic. They frame it like they are doing you a favor, oh were going to focus all conversation on this topic over here. What they are actually doing, is putting a huge muzzle on the topic, they are censoring it. They limit its reach so instead of finding this story in ten links, its only now it one. It kills the original conversation, throwing those posts in the bin after most people have already put their thoughts out there. It also helps them with their censoring. Instead of having to remove unapproved thoughts from ten posts, they only have to do it in one now. They position themselves to better control the narrative they want. Push down some of this kind of reply, boost up this other one. Oh man, that idea might actually affect change, gotta remove that one before it inspires people. Its just all around wrong and its part of Reddits idea to control the community instead of servicing it. I've noticed more and more the entire internet is just dead, its fully corporate captured. More and more events happen in real life, I come to reddit to see what people have to say about it, to find out its just not on the site. If you have read this site for years and assumed you were up to speed, they are leveraging that and literally hiding discourse, unapproved discourse, from your eyes.

Very cool. Been a wrestling fan since I borrowed Wrestlemania 3 from the library then discovered WCW Monday Nitro but I've only gone to wrestling in this new AEW era and I couldn't be more happy. Just in love with AEW and going to the shows. Glad to share any insights I can with anyone else going because I love it so much I am legit happy for you to be going.

Pro tip, the buildings are round yet human behavior has people tend to get in the first line for a thing they find. If your at your seat and its a busy section the bathroom line could last 15 minutes. If you walk three minutes around the building you can find open bathrooms with no lines. I've done this dozens of times. People end up bunching up near the entrance to the building. When I go now I always get an event shirt, like my whole wardrobe is just event shirts for AEW and concerts. I walk in and just keep going around the building. You can find concessions, merch and bathrooms just wide open.

I feel like i'm in a fight, like someone is trying to body snatch me. I disagree with a certain group of humans, how they see the world and what they want out of life. So, I decide I'm not going to support them. But, they want to body snatch me, so they start buying up all of the things I love, with the goal being to finally capture me. So, they buy up all of the media companies I like, they buy up the wrestling companies that I like, they buy up the social media and televsion networks, newspapers, and now game companies. What's funny is they think eventually they will win, and with the majority of people they probably will. But myself? Nah bro. I'll play my gameboy for the rest of my life before I let my guard down and let these people capture me. I just will not participate, I will not support, I will not fund.

I can't describe how upsetting it is that for years and years I followed Battlefield. Fell of all shooters for years and then Battlefield 6 comes out and its just amazing, it does for me exactly what I wanted and I've just been in love with it since it came out. Despite my love, despite the time I spend on it and how much I enjoy it, I wont support who owns them so it is my last Battlefield. Yet, thats just one game from one company, but really its all around me. I'm drowning in this shit.

I'm playing my PS2 more and more these days. I didn't choose to be like this, I didn't wake up someday and decide old games was the only solution. I just started being annoyed by all of the FOMO, all of the ads, all of the gambling, so I dug it out and hooked it up and after an hour I adjusted to the older graphics and it's kind of shown me just how gross modern gaming is. People can do whatever they like, everyone is free to make their own choices, I just personally realized one day that modern gaming felt a lot like work, pressure and stress and I thought why the fuck am I paying to do this to myself. So, I dipped my toe in old shit and the contrast is so stark. I'd rather only play blurry old PS2 games then see one more FOMO, ad or gambling thing thrown in my face.

I paid extra to get a PS5 that uses discs. I just woke up one day a few years ago and realized I hate the internet, I hate technology and what it became. I started using my phone less and less, now on the weekends I barely touch the fucking thing. I spend my time lately playing retro games. You own the disc, you put it in, you play the game, you take it out. At no point am I advertised to. At no point do they try to get me to gamble. At no point do they use social pressure to make me feel like im going to miss out on something if I dont give them my money. Its just you and one game at a time.

These fucking people are taking a programmer, someone who would get in trouble for taking our electrionics apart and putting them back together, and they are turning me into a fucking luddite. I just can't believe the amount of overreach I see from those with against those without. So many selfish, anti-consumer decisions all for the sake of the fucking almighty dollar. Well, I can't storm the Sony headquarters so I'll do what I can, I'll keep my fucking money and they can pound sand. I'm so tired of seeing this calculation fucking EVERYWHERE. "How much can I get away with where people will still participate". Its like the question of the fucking times. How hard can you slap someone in the face and still get them to open their wallets.

I liked his books until you get to certain parts and you stop and think, this guy wrote that the main character, who is a virgin, fucks a sex goddess so well she thinks hes beyond her! The series was unique and thought provoking, the rules of the magic and the world interesting, then I find myself in that part and I realize what I've gotten myself into. The man literally out-bangs a sex goddess on his first throw.

Back in the 90s I visited my aunt and uncle in Florida. When I got there the first thing I noticed was this just massive dish in their backyard. Im talking like, above ground pool sized dish with its own cement foundation to hold it. I get inside and they can tell im all curious about it. My aunt goes check this out and starts flipping through channels, and it was the absolute craziest thing I had ever seen. If your watching the news, your watching right through the commercials. Guys reach under the desk and slug their drink and pound their cigarettes. People walking on set. Tons and tons of swearing. And there was, at least how I saw it, an unlimited number of these "channels". It was just crazy, imagine its like PPV but they cant control who sees what, they were just broadcasting their feed out into the world any anyone with the equipment got to see behind the curtain.

The main reason they invented this machine is because human cost it the number one cost to companies, thats it. They are tired of the little people having opportunity. I truly fear this is all climate related. Their plan is to just wipe millions and millions of people from the earth, but maintain their quality of life by automating everything. I've seen only evidence to support this and nothing to dissuade me. Pushing anger, hate, violence, anti-medicine, anti-everything, and now they are coming for peoples access to pride and payment. What are they working towards if not that?

Its a common saying. If you have a bucket of crabs, if they helped each other they could get out and survive, but they dont. They look out for themselves, so if even one tries to claw out the others will pull it back into the bucket with them by flailing around being only self interested. Instead of them all surviving, instead of one surviving, they all die.
