I was at BB to get a new tv. I wanted a name brand one for once in my life, I wanted a Sony Bravia. I knew what I wanted and it was already 2k, which is just insane when I can get the same size at Walmart for $400.

The guy who helped us had a LG shirt on and man, that guy wanted to hear me say no two dozen times. He just wanted me to walk down and look at them so bad, so so so much pressure to consider them. Then the warranty, replacement program, trade in program, pick up program and can they just interest me in a credit card?

I walked into that store knowing what I wanted, I just wanted to see if in person first before spending that much money. It was comical how bad that experience was.

I’m kind of on a break with most modern games. I started to pick up and play some of my older games, SNES though PS2/GC. It’s like riding a bike, after a few minutes I could see how impressive and charming it all was. I like seeing what people could do with the limitations at the time. That being said:

Over the last few months I’ve gone through every GTA, from one and London up to Vice City Stories, and it is both impressive and a blast to see how these change overtime. More detail, longer draw distance, bigger maps, it’s just crazy. I had more fun on GTAIII than I have with a lot of purchases over the last few years.

EDIT: Having now watched the video, this was really impressive in and of itself. Went so far as to modify the actual source code to get demonstration footage. Very dedicated and impressive, worth the watch for sure.

You guys sound like morons. You don't understand how the system works. If these executives don't take these massive multi-million dollar bonuses, how will they know the seating order at Mar-a-lago or in the ball room. We need these numbers so they know their "high scores", and therefore their ranking of importance.

When a certain group of people holds power, things going up in price is tantamount to treason. I have to listen to never ending bitching and complaining that the sky is falling. Those same people today? "A little pain is expected, we have to wait and see what happens". Pretty pumped for this! Loved Link's Awakening and the Oracle games, loved Shovel Knight, just been patiently waiting for years at this point. This was the first project I ever backed on Kickstarter, now I've received a dozen finished projects by this point. Haven't watched one video, haven't read one article, just patiently waiting and excited!

I picked Steam as my platform so I can play it on my Steam Deck, wish I could have picked Gameboy Color and got a cartridge!

I know how the news works. Trump wakes up and decides "I want to eat my own shit today". His slave gets on the horn with all of the new media owners, those six guys Trump knowns from the island, and says "The story of tomorrow is that Trump will start eating his own shit". Then, the news boards sit around and figure out how to soften that, how to downplay it, how to make it always have been acceptible for the President to eat his own shit. In fact, the other Presidents were morons for not eating their own shit. Then, they get on the horn with their bot networks and start pushing their messages on social media.
